Gillian's interest in Chinese Medicine and Philosophy began in the late 90s through the practice of Qi gong and Tai chi. In 2004 she commenced her training in traditional Chinese Medicine with the Acupuncture foundation of Ireland. Here she studied under Professor Jin Huide and Dr Wu Jidong, from the University of Traditional Chinese medicine, Nanjing.  In 2007, Gillian travelled to China to complete further training in Acupuncture at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I had always been interested in healing throughout my adult life, but was not ready to explore it until recent years. Up until 2004, I worked in a job which held little stimulation for me and I lived mainly for  weekends. When I was made redundant in 2004 , I decided to use the opportunity to finally follow my dream. I began by studying Neuro-Muscular Therapy and Sports Massage, because of my keen interest in football, and enjoyed the courses immensely. During my first year as a qualified Neuro-Muscular therapist, I developed a strong interest in Reiki healing, and qualified as a Reiki and Seichim Master in 2007.  I found that many aspects of my life began to change in a positive way, and still continue to change. After completing all the levels of Reiki/Seichim, I went on to do further  energy work with Kathleen Milner (founder of Tera-Mai Reiki), including working with Sakara and Cahokia energies. While working part-time as a Sports Massage and Reiki therapist, I returned to College, this time to study Naturopathy. I was interested in learning in-depth about topics including Bach Flower Remedies, Tissue Salts and Iridology, so that I could integrate this knowledge into my Energy Healing and Sports Massage practice. In the recent years since I began to follow my heart, and to do what I truly loved, I have achieved more  than I had in all my years up to that point.
