Hair transplant - 1-year review I can not fault the Surgery Group at all through the whole process so far. I 1-year post-op and the results are beyond my wildest dreams! I was initially supposed to be having my transplant in Turkey last summer but due to coronavirus, I could not travel last year. I then looked into a transplant in the UK. I had a couple of online consultations with other, better-known companies but luckily for me, I found Matthew and the Surgery Group. The initial thing that drew me to this business was that it was a considerably lower price than other organisations, but after speaking to Matthew it becomes apparent that I wasn’t only getting a lower price, I was also getting a very personal experience in which I felt looked after and cared about. On the day of the surgery, Dr Ismail and his team were very honest and informative about what was going to happen. They drew an initial hairline that I wasn’t happy with so I asked them to modify this and they did. They even took more grafts than they needed to cover the area in order to make the front have a higher density. Throughout the whole process, I felt minimal pain, only for the anaesthetic injections and when hair was taken from the nerve endings. Overall a really professional procedure in which I felt safe, secure and cared for at all times. After the procedure, it was made clear what to do for aftercare and Matthew was available for the days after the procedure and beyond. He has continued to give me great advice over the phone all year, always replying within 10 minutes. For a lower price, I got exactly the same (or better) as I would have got with any better-known clinic in the UK. I can not stress enough how fantastic this clinic is. When I came for a consultation I found it extremely informative and didn't feel pressured to go forward with any of the treatments and that certainly helped in making my decision to come here. I have been to other clinics and it felt more like a sales pitch than them trying to do what's best for me, this was not the case with Juvida. When I arrived at the clinic my doctor sat down with me and we discussed how my hairline should look to best suit my face shape. After this, I was taken through to the surgery where I was made to feel extremely comfortable (I even got to watch Netflix throughout most of my treatment). The doctor and the hair techs were so knowledgeable and caring, from the moment I met them I knew I was in safe hands and these people were professionals with plenty of experience. They reassured me throughout the day and that made it go so much easier for me. 12 months on and my hairline is through and I am so happy with the results.
