I admitted my brother- in- law Mr Annam Vasu in Bharathirajaa Hospital, G N Chetty Road, Tnagar, Chennai on 03/08/2020 in very sick condition with a breathing problem. The hospital staff are very much friendly and cooperative especially Dr.Balaji Venkatesan (Intensivist), cooperated with me very well informing me about the patient's condition regularly. He attends the phone call any time even in the midnight or early morning and answers very politely. My brother-in-law was in ICU for the first two days. Then he shifted to a normal room and discharged on 13/08/2020. Now his health is in good condition and doing all his regular activities in a normal way. Thanks to M/s Bharathirajaa Hospital who saved my brother-in-law’s life.

I researched suitable Varicose Treatment centres in Whatclinic and found the Pax Clinic. I made equity which was responded to extremely quickly by Gediz, a lady with excellent English who booked me in to see Dr Us. I have varicose veins on the back of my legs. I went to my GP in the UK, who said that they were just a cosmetic issue, nothing to be worried about. I went to Dr Us's surgery and after a short wait, I saw a Dr who spoke good English. He examined me and then conducted several tests there and then. He clearly explained that he needs to know if the root of the problem was in the deep vein valves, or if it is just a cosmetic issue. To know this I needed to get a detailed Doppler scan of all of the main veins in my leg. This had to be done at a neighbouring clinic. They booked me in and I went the following day, it cost £200 and was a very thorough ultrasound survey of all my veins and valves, taking over an hour. The report was sent back to Dr Us, who told me that I have a grade 4 venous insufficiency in both legs. FYI Grade 5 is DVT, so it was a serious potential problem. He was able to do the surgery, but it would require at least a week to get a bed in the hospital. This is quite a serious operation, taking 4-5 hours and an overnight stay in the hospital. The cost for this would be around £7,500. I am going back to the UK to see if I can get medical insurance or the NHS to deal with. Dr Us provided me with a report for this purpose. If not I will come back out to Dr Us, who I rated very highly. He is one of the leaders in his field, globally. The service I received was second to none and Dr Us gave me a prescription for medication to slow the progression and an injector to administer before I fly for more than 2 hours. Thank you for the excellent care I received on my Aug 11 kidney stone episode. The doctor was excellent, reflecting on how caring he was and professional I wished I could have him as my doctor in Canada. All the staff I encountered were caring and professional. I know I was out of it for the most part and once the pain was gone I was exhausted. Having to go to a hospital in a different country, in a different language is frightening, no so at your hospital, thank you for looking after me I received excellent care.
