Dentoamerica - Puerto Vallarta

(866) 679-8168 #430 Tepic-Vallarta, Local #C20, Puerto Vallarta, 63735
Rating from 117 Reviews They did a wonderful jobKaren, Canada, 21 Nov 16

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dentoamerica! I had my front two teeth replaced with crowns and my natural teeth whitened. I have had so many compliments! The reason I had them done is in the past I had a root canal done on one of my front teeth and the color changed. I went to a dentist in Canada who then put a veneer on but the veneer was cracked and basically it was bigger than the tooth next to it.. so I looked funny. The crack soaked up the red wine and coffee. See my below review of this clinic because this is where their service goes above and beyond! My review of the clinic: 1. I am certain I tortured Kirk (the owner) with questions leading up to my vacation and he responded to all of them happily and made me feel I was the only patient in the world. 2. I wanted somewhere between 6 and 16 crowns (I thought it would look better) but the dentist, Mireya Muñoz and Kirk couldn't figure out why I would want to crown perfectly healthy (and white teeth with the help of laser whitening) so we decided to only do the front upper 2 and whiten the rest.. it turned out amazing! 3. Then I wanted a whitening tray.. it was ready the next day and Kirk had it delivered to my hotel.. not even 24 hours had passed! 4. Let me just add that I went in on Monday, Dr. Munoz made me temporary teeth that looked better than the ones I had walked in there with that morning and I had my crowns on by Friday! She was so nice and knew what she was doing. 5. I had my teeth whitened by Daniela Venegas and I was expecting it to hurt and it didn't at all.. infact, it was all I could not to fall asleep.. she even offered to get me a pillow... I wish I had said yes so if any of you are reading this and want whitening, say yes to the pillow :) She too knows what she is doing! Not only did they save me a bunch of money but they did a wonderful job.. most places I researched said it would take 10-14 days to get the crowns back. Here was only 4 days! And they seemed to genuinely care about me. The office is so clean and updated. It's in a mall so shopping was convenient too. Karen H Delta, BC - Canada

Dental Office Puerto Vallarta

Plaza Marina Suite G24 and G25, Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, 48335
Rating from 25 Reviews We now have beautiful smilesLouise, Canada, 24 Aug 17

The dentist performed 26 crowns and 2 bridges on me, not one tooth of my mouth was left untouched. My husband had 7 crowns, one root canal and a bone transplant done for a future implant. We are very please with the results. After 3 weeks of extreme sensibility, everything is back to normal but after all, it was a big surgery. It was all worth it. We now have beautiful smiles. The dentist is professional. The staff is very friendly. The secretary speaks English and answered all our questions. Especially Jose who picked us up so many times at the hotel and was very funny and helpful. There was no pressure to make a quick decision. While waiting for the treatment, they offered us dinner and took us where we wanted to go. They understood the fear of having a treatment done in a country where you don't know the language and the rules. My husband is already thinking of doing more work. We recommend the clinic.

Rating from 10 Reviews I ended up doing two teeth whitening sessions and the results were immediately noticeableRory, Mexico, 08 Nov 16

As a tourist from Australia, I came to ProClinic to have my teeth whitened. It was great to be treated by someone who spoke fluent English, as it made the whole process much more clear and comfortable. I ended up doing two teeth whitening sessions and the results were immediately noticeable. The treatment was quick, affordable and most importantly, I got the results I wanted. The clinic and the people working here are very professional and courteous. I felt at ease throughout my entire treatment.

PFM Crown
Dental Crowns
A natural look for broken and cracked teeth  If you want a smile of glory, you may need a crown to restore the tooth to its normal shape and size. A porcelain crown (also called embedding) covers a tooth to restore its normal shape and size, strengthening and improving the appearance of a tooth. Severe Best Teeth Stains Porcelain Veneer Veneer Application Best Treatment The advantages of crowns include: * Size, shape, texture and color can be controlled. * Return of aesthetics and function. * Can be used on damaged or broken teeth Although porcelain crowns require the reduction of more tooth structure than the veneers, so they are generally stronger than the veneers. Porcelain crowns look like natural teeth and are often stronger than the original teeth. A new crown should last six to eight years. Crowns, however, can last much longer with the application of good oral hygiene and supervision. Moreover, teeth grinding, chewing ice, biting your nails and could significantly decrease the duration of a crown. Dental Crowns  For very damaged teeth, dental crowns can be an effective option. The crown placement procedure involves the use of dental tooth-shaped cover made of metal, ceramic or porcelain to restore strength and eliminate discomfort. In addition, dental crowns can be used to anchor a dental bridge or to cap a dental implant post.Types of Dental Crowns  Dental crowns are made of metal, ceramic or porcelain fused to metal. The type of crown that is used during the procedure will depend on the individual needs and goals, as well as the recommendation of the dentist.

Rating from 39 Reviews An excellent Doctor, facility and pricing much less than in the statesRobert, US, 29 Dec 17

I had some major work done last year and it's all still in good shape and still pain-free. I came back this year for cleaning and check-up. An excellent Doctor, facility and pricing much less than in the states. This is my second yearly visit to Dr. Benjamin Valle. He is a wonderful, gentle, and most competent dentist. My wife got a checkup this year also and we'll be back next year. The Unident office is right at the Puerto Vallarta Marina - a short walk from any of the hotels or condos there. He accepts credit cards and US dollars, though we pay with cash in pesos (the cheapest way to go for us).

Rating from 35 Reviews Excellent work and serviceTatiana, Mexico, 26 Dec 16

My relatives and husband had three crowns and finally I decided to fix problems created by my Canadian dentists. I had to change a bridge and several other crowns. Excellent work and service. Highly recommend Dr. Alberto Hernandez – especially if you have a complex problem demanded high skills. P.S. My Canadian dentistry bill was more than a ticket to Mars… Cannot ask for more…

PFM Crown from $440
Pfm crowns.Porcelain-fused-to-metal dental crowns are somewhat of a hybrid between metal crowns and porcelain crowns. When they are made the dental technician first makes a shell of metal that fits over the tooth. A veneering of porcelain is then fused over this metal (in a high heat oven), giving the crown a white tooth-like appearance. Depending on the requirements of your situation, these crowns are sometimes made where the porcelain veneer only covers those aspects of the crown that is readily visible (meaning the other portions of the crown have a metal surface). In other cases these crowns are pretty much fully surfaced with porcelain.
Dental Crowns $440 - $550
One-Price for Porcelain over Metal Crowns including x-rays, temporaries, and build-ups if necessary. Because porcelain crowns cover your entire tooth, they often provide good solutions for severe problems i.e. a bad fracture, a large filling, a tooth that has had root canal treatment, and in situations where one or several teeth are missing. When teeth cannot be saved, dental implants and bridges are a great option to replace missing teeth. As with other techniques, crowns can correct a wide range of problems. They are durable and strong, so replacements are needed less often. The difference between crowns and laminates (or porcelain inlays) is that more tooth structure is removed. This is required to allow adequate space for the restorative material to have appropriate strength, esthetics… and healthy gum contour. The types of crowns that are commonly used are:1.Porcelain fused to metal quality. 2.Porcelain jacket crown 3.100% Porcelain and Art Glass.Porcelain
Temporary Crown $200 - $300
Temporary crownsTemporary dental crowns are usually cemented into place using "temporary" cement so they can be removed easily at the time of your next dental appointment. Because this cement is not as strong as other types of dental cement, your dentist will probably suggest to you that you take some precautions so not to dislodge your temporary crown.Resin crownsA resin crown is made from a special mixture of microscopic particles and cosmetic dental resin. The particles resemble tiny pieces of glass mixed into the resin, which is then cured to harden and strengthen the compound.Zirconia Crowns:Zirconia is the best material available for bridges and for creating a strong translucent tooth that rivals all-porcelain crowns. Zirconia crowns are significantly less expensive than all-porcelain crowns, and about the same price as gold-based metal-porcelain crowns (slightly higher than stainless steel). Also, because zirconia substrates can be milled with a laser milling machine, the substrates tend to fit better and are less labor-intensive than either a metal-procelain or all-porcelain solution, providing a superior product with a quicker turn-around at a lower cost.
