I just finished my treatment at Dr. Urzola's office. I can genuinely share that Dr Urzola and his entire staff did an amazing job! When I first arrived at Dr Urzola's office five months ago, my mouth was full of deteriorated teeth. I had bad breath (due to the underlying infection that was going on in my mouth). I was very concerned that this chronic dental infection could potentially affect my heart and knew that time was of the essence to find a solution to my serious dental problem. Having spent much time in Costa Rica, I was familiar with the best dental implant clinics in the country. I chose Dr Urzola as my first option due to a strong recommendation from a close friend who lives and works in Costa Rica. When I first arrived in Dr Urzola's office, I found the facility impeccably clean and filled with the latest modern dental equipment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised that both Dr Urzola and his staff are completely fluent in English. I decided right there and then to undergo a full evaluation and assessment. Based on the panoramic digital radiographic study, it was clear that there was one part of my jaw that where the bone was not as thick as the rest. I was concerned as to whether or not I was going to need a bone graft before I could be a good candidate for dental implants. Based on Dr Urzola's professional opinion, he was able to adapt to my special circumstance via a surgical workaround which he performed. Thanks to Dr Urzola's expertise, I did not have to have additional bone grafted into my jaw! Thankfully, I was a candidate for full upper and lower implants. They made me an acceptable proposal, which was a good value; far more reasonable than the same service up in the States and very competitive within Costa Rica. I proceeded with the removal and replacement of all of my teeth. The removal of my old teeth and preparation for my temporary provisional teeth was done on the first visit. I had my provisional teeth within a few days of the removal of my deteriorated teeth. All my friends said that I immediately looked terrific and many years younger. I had my permanent beautiful precision-crafted teeth within five months of my initial visit. They are absolutely gorgeous and, best of all, my brand new "pearly whites" gave me back my radiant smile! The level of personal and professional care from Dr Urzola and his staff was solid six-star! If you are considering having implants, I know that there are many options as to where to choose. I have been a medical professional for over forty years. As such, I have high standards. I know excellent and competent service when I see and experience it for myself. I give Dr Urzola and his staff my highest recommendation and appreciation for their services!!

My time spent during the process was made especially comfortable with the help of a very special person, Gabriel, who was always there when I needed transportation, medication, or just advice and answer my many questions. This clinic really is the best!

Seven of my family members and a few coworkers have gone to Dr Calvo for dentistry work. So while my sister was travelling to have work done that she was quoted $31,000 in the USA, I decided to go with her and have some minor work done. I was so amazed how smooth the whole process is. From the second you land at the airport and Olger picks you up, through the initial check-up by Dr Calvo and the estimate to go the work to the work being done for a fraction of the cost of US dentist. Dr Calvo and his staff are very professional, speak fluent English explains everything he can do for you and the price. While having the work done they are caring and gentle. My sisters total price was $3400 compared to the $31,000 estimate she received in the USA. She didn’t need as much as she was told by the US dentist but did receive four root canals and a bridge with six teeth, as well as a deep cleaning. All done within two visits/ two days. Surprisingly she had NO PAIN whatsoever. I just had a deep cleaning, three silver/mercury fillings I got when I was a child replaced, and a whitening treatment and paid right at $500 No pain and now I have the most shiniest teeth that I have had in years. The office is well equipped and very clean. The shopping centre is very nice and clean At the end of the shopping center is a very nice grocery store that has everything you could possibly need. So happy I finally decided to come to see for myself how wonderful Dr Calvo and Olger are. Absolutely the BEST.
