I went for my first consultation with Dr Evren Dilektasli just over a year ago. From our first appointment I felt comfortable, at ease and understood for the first time ever. Dr Evren is very knowledgeable in this field and had answers for all my questions and believe me I when I say I had many. It's a massive positive also that Dr Evren speaks English so there was no struggle with language barriers. It was decided a RNY bypass surgery was the best route for me as I also struggled with Diabetes. Before my surgery I had all the relevant tests and checks carried out with ease. On the day of my operation and throughout my stay at the hospital Dr Evren paid many visits to me to make sure I was ok and to answer any questions I had post op. Dr Evren's team and all the staff at the hospital were so caring and helpful nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The facilities were spotlessly clean and after 3 days I was discharged. This is the best decision I have ever made I am now nearly 50kg lighter and still losing. I am much more healthier, have more energy and thankfully now free from diabetes. Based on other clinics I looked into this was great valve for all the services I received. I would highly recommend Dr Evren Dilektasli to anyone thinking of taking this journey to change your lives and become a new you. My husband had a mini gastric bypass procedure at the Health Clinic. He lost 45kilos (99Lbs) within 9 months and it has stayed off. That was December 19th 2018. I would definitely recommend Dr Rein Adamson and his son Martin as surgeons. They put my husband at ease and we felt safe at the hospital. We will use them again in future for possible excess skin removal when my husband feels ready.

Sleeve gastrectomy (Gastric Sleeve) from $4823
The procedur is recommended for people suffering from severe obesity and those suffering from chronic diseases (e.g. hypertension). The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia. The effectiveness of the procedure is very high and guarantees spectacular effects. Sleeve gastrectomy is also accompanied by the disappearance of other diseases related to the development of excess weight and obesity. During the surgery about 2/3 of the stomach is resected, causing an irreversible reduction of its volume, shortening of the digestion process and radical decrease of hunger. Why? During the surgery, usually laparoscopic, a part of stomach in which ghrelin is secreted is resected.  After the surgery the patient remains at the in-hospital observation and usually returns to the normal physical activity after a few weeks. The method is not of a definitive character – in case of a failure it is possible to perform an additional procedure (RYGB).

Gastric bypass implantation is a guarantee of excess weight reduction – even up to 85%. The patients is hospitalised for a few days after the surgery. During the procedure a modification of the gastrointestinal tract is performed – we observe shorter digestion time.
