My husband had a mini gastric bypass procedure at the Health Clinic. He lost 45kilos (99Lbs) within 9 months and it has stayed off. That was December 19th 2018. I would definitely recommend Dr Rein Adamson and his son Martin as surgeons. They put my husband at ease and we felt safe at the hospital. I had a gastric balloon done at Tallinn Health Clinic. A 12-month balloon. I lost 28kg in a year with it! The staff was beyond fantastic, the service was fluent and really high quality. I also had a tummy tuck and lipo done after the balloon and I feel very well taken care of. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon - Dr. Rein Adamson - and better patient coordinators. The clinic is very clean and nurses are helpful. Everyone works with a smile.

The patient coordinator is really nice and the services are really good! The clinic was nice and the nurses and other practitioner warm and friendly even if some couldn't speak Finnish nor English.The Surgeon is highly professional and the follow up is done adequately.

Dr. Rein Adamson has over 36 years of surgical experience and he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tartu University in 1982. His expertise lie in bariatric and plastic surgery and he is the most experienced bariatric surgeon and also one of the most experienced body contouring surgeons in Estonia. He has been doing bariatric surgeries since the year 2004 and plastic surgeries since 2000. He is a true pioneer in bariatric surgery and also post-bariatric plastic surgery which go hand in hand.
He has been part of The Health Clinics team since its very beginning and can look back to a vivid career having worked both in the private and public sector in Estonia. Dr. Adamson frequently attends In-service Training sessions across Europe and the US.
Dr. Jaan Troost has been a surgeon for more than 40 years, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tartu University in 1972 which was followed by a 5-year residency to become a general surgeon. He is truly a veteran surgeon with extensive experience and he started his plastic surgery journey in 1995.
He is The Health Clinic’s partner mainly in breast surgeries (breast enlargement, breast lift, breast reduction) and every year he does about 300-400 breast surgeries. He is a member of the Estonian Association of Surgeons, Tallinn’s Surgeons Society and Estonian Plastic Surgery Association.
Aet graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Tartu University in 1993 and has since specialized in nose, ear, and throat surgeries. She performs all rhinoplasty surgeries on behalf of the Health Clinic and can look back to 15 years of professional experience in the public sector and 3 successful years at the Health Clinic. Aet is a member of Tallinn’s Doctor Society and the Estonian Ear, Nose and Throat and Head and Neck Surgeons Society since 1996.
Dr. Sellend has graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in 1983 and she has worked as a plastic surgeon since 1986. She is very experienced and thorough in her work and has attended in-service training courses inMoscow, Riga, Miami, Paris, Stockholm, Athens, Venice and Nice etc. She is also a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). As a partner of The Health Clinic, she is specialized in facelifts, eyelid surgery and ear corrections.
Dr. Martin Adamson, a versatile specialist in the surgical team of the Health Clinic, is an experienced surgeon in the field of bariatric surgery and reconstructive surgery of the abdominal wall. He specialises in weight loss surgery and reconstruction of the abdominal wall and is oriented towards safe surgery and achieving the best functional and aesthetic results.
By his very nature, Dr. Adamson is innovative and creative, considering personal approach to be of great importance. He appreciates regular professional development, and has participated in surgical trainings in Finland, Denmark, England and Spain only in 2017 alone.
