My counselling background includes working with those who have experienced trauma, and those suffering from anxiety or feelings of low mood.  I have also worked with adolescents as a Schools Counsellor, and am currently working with Pieta House supporting people who are in suicidal distress or engaging in self harm. My approach to counselling and therapy is Person Centred, respecting and encouraging the clients’ autonomy within the therapeutic process at all times. I will provide a confidential one to one relationship in a safe setting to develop the client’s self-awareness, assisting them in finding their own way through their difficulties.
