Philippa Ba (hons) is a fully registered and accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist working in Athenry. She considers that people come to counselling because there is something about their life that they want to change, this could be for many reasons ….. to improve a relationship, to become more assertive, to stop feeling stressed all the time, to name but a few. However sometimes clients just come to talk about something that is bothering them and the counsellor gives them time and space in a confidential and safe environment without any judgement, these may include issues such as a loss, a life transition, a traumatic event. No issue is too large or too small, counselling is about what matters to the individual client. Philippa works in a person centred way, focusing on each client as an individual with unique counselling needs. Philippa is also qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Complicated Grief Therapy. The cost is €80 for an hour session.

I am a psychotherapist and counsellor. I will provide a safe,secure and confidential space for you to talk about what's troubling you. If you don't feel like talking at this point you can opt for biodynamic massage at a level and intensity that you are comfortable with. You decide what you want.

Michelle Gunning is a fully qualified Art Psychotherapist with MA level qualification from Crawford College of Art and Design, CIT, Cork. Michelle is also qualified in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Play Therapy (CTC) and has research and training experience in Pre and Perinatal Psychotherapy, Attachment and Trauma, Group Leadership and Spiritual Healing.
