Diamante my therapist was very pleasant, but at the same time asked me difficult questions. She probed deep into my past, and got me to express feelings that I hadn’t done with anyone before. Overall every session with her was good for me The only drawback for me is that I live over 100 miles from the clinic and I can only get an appointment on Saturday. A midweek appointment would be much easier for me.

I originally went to Renata due to relationship (attachment) issues and health anxiety in Winter 2021. I was initially expecting some help to get me through hard times, but it went far beyond my expectations. Over the course of 8 months (1 hour weekly sessions), Renata effectively triaged and treated the most severe issues (health anxiety) before using the same powerful tools to help me in life in general. Besides her deep knowledge, Renata is a brilliant listener, naturally fun and very easy to talk to. This makes for easy work even on daunting issues. I found it especially useful that she isn't afraid to give creative advice also, drawing on her deep experience in psychotherapy and even biology and philosophy to support more traditional techniques. Specifically we used CBT and schema tools. I'll always consider myself a work in progress, but I feel much less anxious, stronger and more at home in my own head than I have in years! Moreover, she has taught me the tools to maintain this and continually improve. It is honestly the best gift I could have given myself. I only wish I went years ago.

I went to see Bernie for about a year, and it most definitely changed how i see myself and my outlook on life for the better. I was made to feel so welcome, safe and understood from day one. I have been to therapy before, but for the first time ever I had been given the tools to cope with feelings of anxiety and depression, to really get to the bottom of why i may feel certain ways about myself and my life and deal with them.
