From start to finish she talked us through the process

4.5 50 Counselling • Paid: €70

My daughter has just finished a 12-week course of play therapy with Eva and I would rate both the clinic and Eva 5 stars. The clinic is spotlessly clean, with all covid precautions in place, lots of toys and activities available in a bright well thought out environment.

Eva the therapist was excellent. From start to finish she talked us through the process and was available to discuss any concerns or questions we had. My daughter made fantastic progress and she achieved all of the goals we had originally set out with the therapist at the planning meeting.

I cannot speak highly enough of Eva and all of the tools she has equipped my child with.

Biography:

B.Soc.Sc., Prof. Dip. Couns.Psych., Dip Sup,

MIAHIP, SIAHIP, Reg.ICP, MEAP.

I have worked in the field of mental health since 1997. Starting out as an addiction counsellor, I have worked with many organisations which led me to continue my education and training in psychotherapy in 2002. I’m also a supervisor, qualifying in 2009 and accredited with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy as a Psychotherapist and Supervisor. I work closely with IAHIP regarding accreditation of psychotherapists and supervisors and have been a member of their Governing Body since 2022.

I hold a keen interest in upholding professional standards and training for psychotherapists and theclients they work with. I work with organisations to aid and support self care in challenging workplaces as well as supervising trainee therapist groups. I’m also a qualified EMDR practitioner.

The majority of my clients are trauma survivors and we work together to manage the impact of trauma which has created blocks and obstacles to functioning with everyday life. This therapy is often long-term as recovery can be slow as we look at processing unresolved memories and experiences in a safe and trusted space through building relationship and regaining trust. This creates a new experience where a person can learn new skills to calm the body’s stress response which enables a person to move forward in life.

My fee is 100euro per session.
