Lotus Counselling - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Lotus Counselling

Edenvale House, New Road, Clondalkin, D22 T2T4
Lotus Counselling's goal is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients who may be facing a range of difficulties such as anxiety, trauma, depression, self-esteem issues, grief etc. It can be a courageous step to turn to a stranger for support. Counselling offers a space where you can uncover your inner strengths and identify life goals based on your individual wants and needs. We can offer you a safe place to gain awareness and insight, as well as learn strategies to manage uncomfortable thoughts, emotions and behaviours. I am trained in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy which means I do not follow one particular discipline or school of thought. Rather than a 'one size fits all' approach I find it more beneficial to integrate a range of different theories and techniques based on the individual client's needs. These include but are not limited to Humanistic Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, Gestalt therapy and Psychodynamic theory.

We sometimes have a laugh to make it a positive sessionSean, Ireland, 19 08 20

I started going to Brendan Markey in May 2018 for counselling at the Somer Clinic Clondalkin, I suffered horrific injuries in January 2018 and after Follow-ups with my Consultant who treated me observed me that I need Counselling as he was a concern for my well being. My GP recommend Somer clinic. Brendan was positive in getting me back me through to overcome the trauma and I was going through a tough period in 2018 and part of 2019 with recovery from the injuries along with worries of the future hold at the end of the recovery. He is a great listener and he has given back my confidence and persuaded me to be positive, open-minded, explored new ways to a new chapter and well being. He makes me relaxed and the conservation flow, He listened to my issues, and how I’m feeling with difficult with getting my independence back and he reassured me that we get there as part of wellbeing, giving me the morale boost. We sometimes have a laugh to make it a positive session. Take this opportunity to thank Brendan for his contribution in helping me in getting me back on my feet with his advice, opinion and enjoyed going to the sessions for I will see him again soon.

From start to finish she talked us through the processJennifer, Ireland, 20 04 21

My daughter has just finished a 12-week course of play therapy with Eva and I would rate both the clinic and Eva 5 stars. The clinic is spotlessly clean, with all covid precautions in place, lots of toys and activities available in a bright well thought out environment. Eva the therapist was excellent. From start to finish she talked us through the process and was available to discuss any concerns or questions we had. My daughter made fantastic progress and she achieved all of the goals we had originally set out with the therapist at the planning meeting. I cannot speak highly enough of Eva and all of the tools she has equipped my child with.

He taught me to flourish as a human beingJennifer, Ireland, 15 10 25

John transformed my life. I worked with John over a long period of time. When I met John, I was lost, trapped in a very unhappy, toxic and abusive relationship with no self-esteem. John has a very targeted approach to supporting you to heal and transform your life. He helped me put things in place so I could learn to live my life free from addiction and trauma. At the time, I was in a very bad situation and was overcome with addiction. Not only did he help me put the pieces of my life back together and teach me how to put one foot in front of the other. He taught me to flourish as a human being; he taught me my worth. Today I am 8 years clean and sober, and I work as a college teacher, which I absolutely love. I no longer look for approval from others or get myself into situations I shouldn't. John gave me my life back, and I will be forever grateful. If you're looking to change your life for the better or overcome any difficulties, look no further

Bereavement Counselling from €50
Bereavement counselling offers the opportunity to explore, understand and work through feelings of grief. Although everyone's personal reaction to a bereavement is different, most people experience some of the following emotional responses when someone close to them dies: disbelief, trauma, anger, sadness, relief, guilt, depression, anxiety, despair, longing and loneliness.  At Building Bridges Counselling and Psychotherapy I will work with you at your pace to discuss your journey without your loved one. In my personal life I have lost family and friends that are irreplaceable yet through counselling I feel so much stronger. Although they have passed they are never forgotten.

Scully Counselling & Psychology Online - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Scully Counselling & Psychology Online

14 Esker Lawns, Lucan, K78A470
Hello, I’m Eimear Scully and I’ve been working as a counsellor and psychotherapist in Dublin and Killdare for almost 20 years. I have a depth of knowledge and experience in many areas including childhood trauma, attachment, co-dependency, adoption, relationships, difficult dynamics within family relationships, workplace issues, stress, anxiety, feelings of hopelessness, depression, existential and transpersonal issues.  As of March 2026 I've moved to working fully online so I can offer my services to a wider community.  I believe that each person is completely unique and will require an individual treatment approach. While I’m trained in person-centred integrative therapy, I also have extensive experience using mindfulness based approaches to build personal awareness and the life skills you will need to effectively deal with whatever arises in your life. I've also recently completed Level Three training in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) a trauma based neuroscience backed therapy. This is particularly effective in dealing with childhood and attachment based trauma and PTSD. If you’ve been feeling stuck, confused or alone these feelings are more common than you may realise. It helps to understand, process and reframe the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that have brought you here so please get in touch and together we can discuss what it is you're hoping to achieve from therapy.
