I can't recommend this place enough! I had my ADHD assesment done here and the efficiency and professionalism is top notch!! I was waiting for an appointment at a different clinic for over 6 months and my GP referred me to Zak Powers instead. I got scheduled right away and had my appointment only a couple of days after contacting the clinic. The communication is excellent, same for the management. 10/10!

Cognitive therapy seeks to help the client overcome difficulties by identifying and changing there thinking errors, behaviour, and emotions. This involves helping patients develop skills to change beliefs, identifying thinking errors and changing behaviours. Treatment is based the collaboration between the client and the therapist. Once those thoughts have been challenged, your feelings are easier to change. I believe that most people can overcome any emotional disability by ‘Working harder’. This journey with Renata began about 6 weeks ago. It was a decision that was not made lightly as I had very conflicting opinions as to what I would actually gain from counselling. But due to a thought that I was beginning to lose my mind and experiencing very high-stress levels from a personal issue, combined with unresolved childhood issues I knew I was in trouble. I remember feeling nervous about being judged or getting strange looks and even though she'll think I'm either over exaggerating a situation or the opposite. I was met with a very friendly, warm introduction and immediately those doubts I had lessened. Renata, is very down to earth, empathetic and her attention to detail is second to none and how she engages in conversation, allowed me to drop the barrier I had up and the problems I was enduing just flowed. It is almost like she knows you better than you know yourself and in the short space of time I have known her, I feel that the problems I have can be fixed and feel very comfortable in her presence. In her words " together we become a team ". To conclude, very happy and satisfied and it's a small price to pay to begin healing and the fightback. Totally recommend Renata.
