Given an appointment the same day with Paul, physio needed for back injury acquired when lifting, diagnosed with pulled muscles. Paul got me gently moving my back and showed me exercises that were achievable at home. Went in struggling to stand, and left feeling so much better! Highly recommend the clinic, dealt with me with empathy and compassion. Forever grateful for good value for money treatment. Over 10 years, I have visited Jonathan's practice for my lower back, sciatica, tendonitis and a Baker's cyst. I would always recommend this practice first. On every occasion, Jonathan considers the individual, treats them like a person and not a number. He will recommend other treatments if appropriate. His knowledge of the latest research, willingness to be open to alternatives is very impressive and the surgery is well equipped. Every treatment I have had in the past along with the advice for self-help has produced excellent results. Excellent, friendly and efficient.
I attended the clinic with a longstanding knee issue. Lorna did a thorough examination, explained the issue and treatment plan and gave me several exercises to do daily. After 3 treatments the knee pain had reduced significantly and movement was much improved. Two months on, it’s still much better, (although I haven’t been as consistent with the exercises, sorry). Sought treatment for lower back/hip pain which had really limited my mobility over many months. Received an ultrasound-guided cortisone injection for my hip pain and started a gym programme for strength. The whole setup at Core Physio is professional and reassuring. I would recommend it to anyone who has had recurring problems/injuries. Great service.
TPSIC has supported several treatments over the years including rehabilitation on my back and two hip replacements. In the case of the hip replacement, they prepared me fully prior to the operation with specific strengthening exercises. As a result, the rehabilitation post op was remarkably quick. Currently, they are looking after new issues re my knee and ankle. The physiotherapists are attentive, caring and on the ball when working out your problems. However, you need to remember to do the exercises they give you. Rehabilitation is in your own hands. They can’t easily help you through recovery if you don’t.
