I had started to have excruciating pain in the left of my back just above my hip. This was mostly after I had been sat for a couple of hours and then standing up or turning over in bed during the night. I contacted Stefan because he had helped me twice before with other issues and I was confident he would sort out my problem. At my first appointment I explained what the problem was and he took various details about my health. Then he did whatever was necessary to sort out my problem. I saw him the following week and he gave me excercises to do which helped a lot. I had another appointment but the pain had practically gone so I cancelled. Two weeks on and the pain has gone completely. Stefan is professional, friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone. It was good value.

This is the first time we meet. Most people are a bit nervous but there's nothing to be worried about we don't bite. It's a good idea to wear shorts and a lose training top if male, and shorts and strapless top if female. This enables us to have a good look at your spine and posture if needed. However for some treatments and assessments we may ask you to remove your top, this enables us to better asses the condition or injury. Assessment: This first takes the form of a detailed chat, where we gather all the important information about your condition and any related information that could prove useful in treating you. This includes your past medical history and the history of your injury. We then move on to more physical assessment, looking at posture, functional movements, muscle tests, ligament stability tests and neuromuscular (nerve) tests where appropriate.Diagnostic: All the information gathered from the assessment is then used to formulate a diagnosis (we tell you whats wrong). We will then give you some treatment options and advise you on how working together we intend to treat the injury/condition. We will also give you a time frame for recovery. Rehabilitation: Depending on your condition rehabilitation may become a large part of your recovery. We will give you the tools, understanding and guidance to manage your injury.

Emma is a warm and friendly person and a very knowledgeable and professional physiotherapist with an excellent knowledge of physiology. I have been to her now for many years for my various issue including tennis elbow, lower back pain, and recently a knee problem. Each time she assesses my problem carefully and implements treatment with recommended exercises. I've attended other physiotherapists and have not found any to be as good as Emma. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
