I was very impressed with how organised the transportation was from the airport, to the hotel and to the clinic. The staff were very knowledgeable and everything was well-coordinated. I received my hair transplant two weeks ago and was very pleased with the experience.

The doctor who explained the procedure was extremely thorough and answered all my questions and reassured me of any worries I had. During the procedure, the doctors and nurses with me were brilliant and made sure I was ok throughout. The aftercare is brilliant as well. The day after I got back home, I got a message from my post op consultant, called Merve, and she's been brilliant answering all my questions and checking up on me to make sure my recovery has been going fine.
Overall, it was a brilliant experience, and I would recommend anyone to use Vera Clinic because the level of care and professionalism is 2nd to none!

It's been 8 months already since my hair transplant and the results are amazing, I really love it. I am finally able to walk on the streets without a cap anymore. The follow-up is also incredible. They are really attentive.

Overall, I had a very good experience with Vera Clinic, and I want to emphasise how professional, kind, and welcoming most of the team was.

From the beginning, communication via WhatsApp was quick and easy. The clinic itself is beautiful, very clean, modern, and high-end. Everything felt well-organised and professional.

The doctors and medical staff were extremely kind, attentive, and reassuring. They clearly tried to make us feel comfortable at every step. The general personnel were wonderful, and even the drivers were consistently polite, punctual, and friendly, which made all transportation completely stress-free.
I especially want to mention my interpreter, Sasha, who was exceptional. She was not only professional but genuinely caring — she stayed with me and talked with me for around 30 minutes, which helped calm my nerves significantly. That personal attention made a real difference.

That said, on the day of the surgery, we had to wait almost four hours before being taken in, as the clinic was extremely busy that day. This happened right before an 8-hour surgery, and it was physically and mentally exhausting. This is something that should be managed much better, or at the very least clearly communicated in advance, as it has a real impact on patients’ well-being.

There was also a lack of transparency regarding pricing. I mentioned using beard grafts, and neither the doctor nor the staff involved in planning and drawing on my head and beard informed me that this would involve an additional charge. Only after all the planning and sketching were completed, and after leaving the doctor’s office, was I told that I needed to pay extra. This came as an unpleasant surprise and should have been disclosed upfront.

The only other negative experience was with the barber who shaved our heads (both mine and David’s). Unfortunately, this was done very roughly, despite our scalps being sensitive and inflamed after the cell treatment. A gentler and more patient-focused approach would have been far more appropriate.

In summary, Vera Clinic offers a high-quality, comfortable environment with an excellent medical team and genuinely kind staff. With better scheduling management, clearer upfront communication regarding costs, and more care during certain preparatory steps, the overall experience could be outstanding.

The facilities at Vera clinic are of 5-star standard. From start to end, treatments were handled professionally, and I, as a client, was made to feel comfortable wherever possible. As an English speaker. It is very easy to communicate with members of the team.

Vera offers a qualified team of doctors and support staff, which gave me ample confidence to go ahead with them. Further, their pre-op and post-treatment care team, which includes Aysenur & Merv, is very responsive, knowledgeable and offers guidance as required even months after the visit.

I had my hair transplant at Vera Clinic in Istanbul on January 2nd and I am genuinely impressed. The level of care, professionalism and attention to detail was exceptional. The clinic is extremely clean, modern and aesthetically beautiful (11/10 for cleanliness), and the entire medical team deserves a 12/10 for how they treat patients.

I had 4580 grafts transplanted, which required proper planning and an individual strategy. What really stood out to me was the personalised approach — they consider your head shape, hair structure and future styling. In my case they even avoided extracting grafts from areas that could later affect the natural direction of the hair due to a slight occipital indentation. That shows real experience.

My case was medically complex because I have SUSSAC syndrome, which involves immunology, long-term medication and an increased risk of bleeding. Two clinics refused to operate on me, and others avoided discussing medical details. Vera Clinic was the only one that prepared a proper medical protocol including IV steroids and medication adjustments.

Despite the increased risk, the procedure went extremely well and, surprisingly, my healing was even better than many healthy patients — proof that proper preparation matters.

The surgery took around seven hours and the channels were opened by the professor personally, which for me was crucial because angle and direction determine naturalness. Throughout the procedure I felt safe and well cared for — the team worked in shifts, everything was sterile, calm and efficient.

The support continued after the surgery with daily guidance and instructions. I never felt left alone at any stage.

If they asked me to pay an extra €1000 for this level of care, I genuinely would. Professionalism, safety and individual approach matter more than anything.
