If you are anything like me, you just got out of the shower after finding a disheartening amount of hair in your hands upon washing. Or maybe you just woke up and see that you have little hairs all over your pillow (again). If this is you, don’t panic. Take a deep breath because you have come to the correct page. Next month, it will be one year since my FUE hair transplant with Favor Clinic..... does time fly. Although a year older, I appear to be 10 years younger and no I am not Benjamin Button, I am just a very happy patient of the team. Rewind to a year ago, my hairline was receding, as well as thinning with a small bald patch forming toward the back of my head. I felt down and reached for a hat whenever I wanted to hit the town or go out with friends. Not a good feeling as you likely know reading this. I was tired of thinking about my hair and wanted my old self back. With the support of my family, I went in to meet with Favor’s people. From the very first meeting, Clinic made me feel comfortable and excited with what I was about to undergo. The team is a prof., but also an artist with a vision for what will look natural and suit you best. When it came time for surgery day, I was totally calm (and I usually don’t even like getting my blood drawn) but that is the environment team has created. The staff puts you at ease, and you really don’t feel a thing. You feel very well cared for. As most would rightfully wonder, what is the recovery like? In my personal experience recovery was very easy. I did not get swollen and I experienced no pain. There is an option for the resident (one of the Clinic’s assistants) to come over the day after to unwrap your bandage, and this is something I highly recommend. She is absolutely amazing, and it is nice to have someone with so much experience to see how everything looks the day after and assure you everything is great. From that point on, you see your hair slowly start to grow in, which is amazing and honestly extremely fun. In no time you begin to see your old self return and with that, you throw a couple of hats away (haha). Then in a blink, it is almost a year and you realize what a great investment in yourself you’ve made. I highly recommend working with Favor Clinic and will continue to tell my friends experiencing the same issues as I did about his amazing work. the team really enables you to look back and say #wishgranted.

From the jump, Dr. sat down and met with me personally for the free in-person consultation. We talked about what I was hoping for, expectations, and drew lines to confirm that we were on the same page for what I was looking for. This contrasted with the other hair transplant centres that had me meet with only an assistant or "customer specialist" (who really only discussed follicle count & cost) because the surgeon was too “busy” to meet me before the day of the operation. The comfort level I felt leaving Dr.'s office after that first consult was higher than with any other centre, and I didn't feel any pressure to continue even though he had given me a good amount of his time during the consult. Fast forward to the operation, and though I elected to go with a significant number of grafts, Dr. and his team did a great job in carefully harvesting to avoid scaring & spreading the grafts to produce a natural look and avoid any clumping. The operation went for several hours, but the team did a great job making sure it was smooth and comfortable. Post-op, a member of the team texted me on a regular basis to make sure I was keeping up with post-op care, was feeling good, and answering any questions I had. Even now, Dr. and his team have been great at following up and monitoring progress, which at the five months mark is substantial. My front hairline is now sharp and natural, and there is significantly more density near my crown than I had pre-op. I went into this thinking I'd have to focus on one or the other, and indeed, other places told me I would. Dr. assured me he'd be able to improve both in the same operation, and he definitely delivered. I highly recommend giving this centre a shot if you're in the same boat I was in 5 months ago. The people there are good, their work ethic is great, and the results, which you can see on this platform, speak for themselves. Good Luck guys!
