I had a bilateral hip resurfacing surgery with the doctor Jacek Laskowski on 28th July in Carolina hospital. As I was considered young for this surgery (42 years old) and had an athlete history before, the doctor decided to made both hips on the same day. That was the best experience I had comparing to hospitals in UK and Italy about not just the surgery but also very clean and modern hospital, very friendly staff (some nurseries don’t speak English but they try their best to comfort you), a lovely medical tourist manager always checking if everything was ok with me (Ms Danuta Milanowska). Only the first week not was easy.

Seven years ago I walked into Dr Lau’s office since I had persistent throat pain. Dr Lau diagnosed advanced cancer and I underwent a robotic operation followed by radiation and chemotherapy.
