Recommended by my father who had several implants carried out by Guy Barwell. Guy did a great job as well as supporting my anxiety levels without the need for sedation with his calming aura. He did not let me suffer a step-by-step explanation he got on with the job in hand just as I requested. He completed my implant process to the relaxing music of Led Zepplin’s Stairway to Heaven. The rest of the team was also great and formed a part of providing a superb outcome where we all worked together on choices. Receptionists were important too … that first part of the process and at the beginning of every appointment. Always there to answer every question posed and keep reception a friendly area. I am a new patient registered to NSDC, I am pleased with the treatment and the advice given by the Dentist, I had a periodontal abscess but was already healed when I went to the Clinic, however, the Dentist still treated my gums and checked all my teeth and gums. Can I just say what outstanding treatment I had at this practice I had a Root removed from a snapped tooth? The process was a success I was really Nervous and the dentist and Nurse put me at ease!

I have been a patient for over a year now and have always been very happy with the care and attention given at each visit. Reception staff are always extremely polite and welcoming, which gives a calm atmosphere to the practice. Every dentist that I have seen at the practice always takes the time to explain the procedure and make you feel at ease, and as a nervous patient, this is very reassuring. I visited on Saturday for a consultation on composite bonding on some of my upper and lower teeth, and was very happy with the detailed explanations given by Mikalah for me to reach a decision to go ahead with treatment. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable on the subject. I would highly recommend BDC if you are looking for a practice that goes above and beyond in caring for its patients.

I saw Dr Bilal today. He was assisted by Libby, and I must say that I was very impressed, despite feeling a little anxious. Dr Bilal reassured me and the whole procedure, from giving me the local anaesthetic, having an impacted Wisdom tooth, and a snapped off molar extracted, took less than 10 minutes. I went into the treatment room at 1 pm, and I was on the bus home by 1.16. There was no pain and hardly any bleeding. If your dentist is hesitant about removing a tooth, ask to be referred to Smilekind.
