Dental Implants Maltepe

I recently travelled from the United States to Novus Klinik in Istanbul for full-mouth implant treatment with Dr Mustafa. I am still in the first stage of treatment, so I cannot speak to the final results yet, but I wanted to share my experience so far. From the moment I arrived, the staff were organised, professional, and easy to communicate with. Airport transfers and scheduling went smoothly, and the clinic itself was modern, clean, and well-run. Dr Mustafa reviewed my scans carefully and explained that, because of bone loss, my treatment plan would require additional implants beyond the original plan. The decision was made based on my individual needs rather than following a standard approach. The procedure itself took approximately three hours, including extractions and implant placement. I was impressed by how efficiently the team worked, and my discomfort afterwards has been much less than I expected.

One of the best decisions I ever made was to have an implant at Clinic Prime. It is a professional, very modern surgery with fabulous, caring dentists delivering an all-round smooth and effectively pain-free service. At £1000 (excluding airfares but including 6 days' hotel and airport transfers) it was a third of the UK cost for just the implant. It started with a free consultation in London with two of their senior consultant dentists after having had a free whole-mouth X-ray arranged by them. This ended with a clear dental plan and quotation. Subsequent admin and visit planning were smooth, flexible and easy. Throughout my whole experience, I found all staff incredibly friendly and solicitous. And my actual Clinic schedule allowed me to spend some time in the marvellous city of Istanbul. I needed what I thought would be 3 implants, but after a week of consultation, sharing my x-rays and pictures the İstanbul Diş Akademis staff determined that it would be best that I get 2 implants and 1 crown. They determined that my 3rd tooth was in good enough condition to receive a crown and that their interest was to always preserve the patient’s own teeth first. This of course, meant it would be cheaper but that didn’t matter to them; integrity and what was best for the patient came first - not the money. At that point I chose them and ended my search. My first visit involved the implant implementation and then a three-month healing period. I asked multiple times if we could do the entire process in one trip over a week or so but they repeatedly refused despite many other dentists offering “same day - 1 visit implant procedures.” İstanbul Diş Akademis understood that was an option from other offices but advised against it and clearly stated that for the best long-term outcome I needed to let my gums heal and bond to the implants. The healing went well with no issues as did the implant procedure. I had swelling and discomfort for a few days but nothing serious. I returned 13 weeks later and over a 3-day period received the root canal & crown, plus the implant crowns were placed perfectly on the implant screws. My bite is perfect, the crowns merged right into my smile and I actually had to point out to my wife exactly which 3 were the crowns. On both occasions, the staff were professional, polite and held themselves to a very high standard. The facility is world-class; all of their equipment is state-of-the-art and much better than any dentist I’ve used here in the U.S. Both my trips included a driver with airport transportation and it was always a luxury SUV with a professional driver. My second visit included a hotel stay at 216 Ruby Suites, which is a 5-minute walk or 2-minute drive to the office. I was picked up every time for my appointments and never had to make the short walk. The hotel reservation was handled directly by İstanbul Diş Akademis, and all I had to do was tell them my room type, and once I arrived, I had to provide my passport. I never paid the hotel or the luxury airport transportation company - İstanbul Diş Akademis handled everything. I paid the office when service was rendered and that was it. Lastly, the two female dentists and there staff that worked on me were the best of the best and I couldn’t ask for anything more, the gentleman that worked directly with me from the time of my first message in Sept 2025 until the finished product on July 11, 2026 are a example of professionalism and dedication to customer care. They were always there to answer any questions and even helped me with the proper documentation for my insurance company to reimburse me. If your considering getting dental work abroad then İstanbul Diş Akademis should be at the top of your list.

I always believed that beautiful teeth were prohibitively expensive and honestly didn't dare dream about having them. Looking back, I wish I had access to this information 10 years ago - I would have taken action much sooner. The text will be long because many people want to hear all the details 🙂 so I'll start with the facts to not torture those who don't like many letters 🙂 FACTS: My husband Vitalis and I travelled to Turkey to fix our teeth. WHAT WAS DONE? Indre: · removed two unfixable/broken teeth (more precisely, their remains) · inserted 4 implants · fixed 10 root canals · put on 25 zirconium crowns (the plan was 24, but at the last moment I wanted one more) Vitalis: · removed 8 teeth · sinus filling/sinus lifting · inserted 10 implants · After the first visit, Vitalis got temporary dentures to "go out in public" since he was toothless. · During the second visit, he received porcelain dentures, which are recommended for patients without natural teeth. These consist of a steel framework with porcelain teeth mounted on top. PRICE: INDRE COST 5250 DOLLARS VITALIS - 8000 DOLLARS. Payment was made in 3 parts: · Down payment: 1500USD before booking plane tickets in November · During the first visit, 6500 USD in January · During the second visit (after 4 months), 5250 USD in May Included in the price (meaning we didn't pay extra for these): · Plane tickets Houston-Istanbul-Houston for 2 people, 2 times (first in January, second in May), · Hotel (first time 7 days, second time 10 days), · Transport/Escort (from/to hotel, from/to clinic), · Interpreter · City sightseeing, little gifts 🙂, facial cleaning.
