Everything was very good I had breast aesthetic surgery at Aktif International Hospitals last month. My transfer and my hotel or all services were perfect. I am writing a review so that others may benefit from learning further about my septo-rhinoplasty experience organised and orchestrated by Dr Andaç Aykan and his team. I am from the UK originally but lived in Turkey for nine years previously. I was fully aware of the scale of the health tourism sector, but did not know where to start looking when considering surgery options in Istanbul. Having exhausted UK package possibilities (I did not feel comfortable knowing that some surgeons are performing multiple surgeries in a day, the incessant ‘special offers,’ and the mixed results.) By word of mouth and recommendation I heard of Dr. Aykan, having had several previous in-person consultations. In my case I was not looking for a drastic change in my appearance and my main aim was to find a surgeon able to proceed without artistic license! Keeping in mind, I am a person who does not like change and whom struggles even with hairstyle differences. The combined recommendation, reviews, clinic, technology, Doctor and team made my decision very easy. Where other Doctors had sketched or tried to explain expected changes to my nose incoherently, Dr Aykan used 3D vectra imaging to portray an expected result, using the angles of my face to develop a nose with the best fit for my face and other features. Furthermore, after assessing my nose internally (whilst showing me onscreen) he provided a ready printed document and was able to illustrate how my septum deviated and necessary structural changes to allow me to breathe more freely. Dr Aykan speaks perfect English and was able to articulate and address all of my concerns - of which I had a list of questions to resolve. I had not anticipated my peak in anxiety the day before and day of the surgery and I felt that this was completely understood and acknowledged. I felt that Dr Aykan offset my anxiety and nerves through his calm, steadfast and intellectual demeanour. Overall I can say instinctively that I felt that Dr. Aykan would not do me a disservice and I felt throughout the process that I was able to trust fully in the Doctor to achieve the result I had requested. When I had any doubts in the months before the surgery, I always returned to the position that, ‘this is the surgeon who can execute the optimal result.’ On the day of the surgery, everything went smoothly and I woke up to the sound of Şevval’s voice (the Dr’s Assistant), who expressed that everything had gone well. I later saw the Doctor in the hospital room and was able to share that my breathing was much improved, even as of Day 1! The hospital room itself was really lovely and my boyfriend was able to stay next to me on a fold out sofa. The nurses were incredible and throughout the night attentively put ice on my eyes every one hour. I was not able to express my immense gratitude easily after the surgery but they really impressed me and made a huge difference to the overall experience and in my speedy recovery - whereby I happened to have a deficit of bruising and only a minimal 3 days of discomfort. Fast forward to the result and I could not be happier. Leaving the clinic I have already fully accepted my new nose and can really see how it has enhanced my appearance. I am also benefiting from the real results of the septoplasty, in every breath I take. I am excited to see the results transform and become even more outstanding in the upcoming few months, once swelling reduces. I am looking forward to future engagements when photos will showcase the true artistry of Dr Aykan and when my confidence will be boosted by this stunning, understated and natural minor modification to my look. If I could give a 100 star review, I would! I came to Doctor Görkem from Utah, USA, based on personal research and a gut feeling. My expectations were exceeded in every way from consultation, coordinated travel, appointments, handholding and of course, surgery. I found out that Doctor Gorkem’s name means charming, and I can’t think of a better description of the man except perhaps artist and magician. I had 67 years of sun worship, stress and ageing on my face along with a triple chin. I had deep plane face, chin and neck and upper and lower bleph. I can’t begin to explain how thrilled I am with absolutely everything. I told his amazing team that I will need to wear a nametag at home because my family won’t recognise me at The airport. This has been such a blessing. The highest recommendation from me! Of course, the value was amazing but in hindsight, I can see that it was priceless

Cygnus Clinic is simply amazing! My husband and I came all the way from Germany 2 weeks ago for a rhinoplasty consultation and explained to their surgeon what we wanted- he took the time to listen carefully and then made individualized suggestions on what was best for us. The entire Cygnus Clinic team was amazing, from their medical consultant- who scheduled the procedures to their nurses and health coordinator- who coordinated our care during are our stay in Istanbul. The procedure went very smoothly and we are writing this 2 weeks post-operation without any complications and can’t wait for the swelling to go down to be able to see the final results, our nose already looks very good. The price was super convenient since it included the surgery, 5-star hotel and transfer, we literally didn’t have to worry about anything! I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking to travel for cosmetic surgery. Thanks to Dr Tolga and the whole Cygnus Clinic team for a great experience.

I can’t recommend Dr Goktug and his team enough. From the initial contact, to the consultation, to the surgery, treatment and aftercare, they have been amazing, all of them. My main concern with having surgery abroad was the level of aftercare I would receive. I read so many stories from other clinics where people were not happy with their aftercare, but mine has been brilliant. The team are very caring, considerate and genuinely care about your health and progress. I am now 4 weeks post op and Dr Goktug and Aisa are still in contact with me, checking up regularly. My results are already amazing. I can’t wait to see the final result.
