The post-operative was surprisingly smooth and I had no pain and issues at all. There are no words to describe her greatness, I would not put myself in other hands than hers!.
After having a couple of online consultations, I chose to go to Zaragoza under the care of Dr. Herrero. When I arrived in Zaragoza, I was welcomed in the Clinica San Clemente by Dr Herrero, who answered my questions and doubts in detail and provided photos of patients of his during different stages of recovery. The day of surgery, I was nervous; however, when I met Dr Herrero, the nursing team and the anaesthetist, it all became real. Everyone was so kind, and I calmed down. The few days I spent in the hospital were with my mum, who was able to sleep in my room and take care of me. Dr Herrero visited me several times for checkups, and my big reveal was a very special moment. I looked down and I felt happy. We had been advised that in order to receive the right after-care to stay in Zaragoza for nearly 2 weeks, so we got an Airbnb two minutes away from the hospital. I have had daily checkups and three lymphatic massages in my time here. Dr. Herrero provides everything you need so you can concentrate on your recovery. I would say to anyone who is considering top surgery that Dr Herrero and his team in Zaragoza are true specialists and help trans people achieve their goals and have the best results.
