Dr. Rodríguez Vega performed my colovaginoplasty, and he was absolutely delightful. Her work was excellent. I felt completely safe and at ease in her care. The nurses at Clinica Mi Tres Torres were exemplary, and I wish I could have thanked them all in person when I was discharged.

Everything from the consultation right up to flying home was smooth, easy, and affirming. Aida and Safe Rebirth were instrumental in this, and I cannot thank everyone enough for their help.

I’ve had a consultation with Dra. Vega for combined vulvoplasty with chondrolaryngoplasty. This is an unusual combination of procedures, but she was able to be flexible to accommodate my needs. I definitely felt reassured discussing the procedures with her, as she evidently has a lot of experience and showed a lot of compassion and understanding. We talked through the technical side of the procedures, as well as the results and recovery, and she answered all of my questions as we went along. I was also able to look at some pictures of results from previous patients, which really helped to understand what was going to be achievable for me, and I was very impressed with them. Overall, the experience has been really good, and I definitely feel reassured, listened to and understood.

My wonderful experience with Dr Ana Rodriguez and Safe Rebirth Barcelona. I honestly don’t know what to say. This has been truly extraordinary the very best medical experience of my lifetime. I found out online in the Autumn of last year, I made contact, and the kindness, compassion, empathy, and respect given were truly wonderful. The tests were arranged 200m from my Hotel with Oscar helping to interpret. No problems. Going into the Hospital on Thursday, Aida and Oscar were there for me every step of the way. Met Gerrard, the Gender Nurse really kind and helpful person, ANA before Surgery. Louise, any doubts? No Ana, I’m 100% Surgery woke up with a smile, feeling blessed by Safe Rebirth and all the team back in January for some smaller surgeries; however, I can't recommend Safe Rebirth enough, they are all truly amazing and beyond anything I ever imagined. Safe Rebirth has been really helpful so far. Aida has been amazing and really supportive throughout the process, answering questions and guiding things along. They arranged a video consultation with a doctor really quickly, and the doctor was lovely, reassuring, and professional. I’ve also been able to book my surgery date for later this year, which has taken a huge weight off my mind. Overall, I’ve had a really positive experience with them so far and I feel well looked after.

I am very glad I chose Dr. Rodriguez Vega to perform this life-changing surgery on me. As a trans female, I can’t express how right everything looks and feels right now and how much of a relief it is after all these years. The process itself went very smoothly from the initial consultation all the way through surgery, the hospital, first dilation, and post-hospital recovery at a nearby hotel. I had no pain throughout the process and only a little discomfort due to being confined to bed for several days after surgery. Dr. RV and her staff were wonderful to work with, and they all truly care about their patients.

Currently scheduled for surgery, but so far, the process has been very smooth with very clear communication on my options, the pricing, and the scheduling. The value is good. I was made to feel comfortable with my goals and what I want.

Overall, it was a good experience for Colon-vaginoplasty. If I had to do it over again, I would not pick a different surgeon; she is a wonderful person and a definite ally - same with all the staff. Functionally. Everything seems to be in good recovery from the surgery was not painful - the worst part is the bed rest and just being helpless in the few days following surgery. I had a complication due to the IV, which I'll explain more below. Right now, there is still a good amount of swelling. I am told that the majora will subside over the coming months - besides that, the rest of everything looks pretty good, and I'm happy so far.
