I would highly recommend booking surgery I received fantastic communication before I even landed in Istanbul with my amazing coordinator Nina. Even when I arrived home she was there on the other end of the phone answering the questions I had all whilst heavily pregnant she really went above and beyond for me. I had 2 procedures I had a FDL Extended Tummy tuck & breast uplift & implants following a 7 stone 5 weight loss my surgeon was Dr Emin he was incredible he knew exactly the look I wanted and he done an incredible job. I am very impressed with my neat stitching and my results are fantastic. He came and saw me every morning after the operation to check I was okay and if I had any questions he really was amazing. I am hopefully heading back next year for a thigh lift, the hospital and nurses were amazing they took care of me every step off the way with pre-op testing & the aftercare was brilliant. Just 15 minutes with Dr. Murat Üstün is enough to understand what kind of person and doctor he is — you immediately feel a sense of strength, calm, and complete trust. You stop thinking about risks and simply feel safe enough to close your eyes and let go. Now I lovingly refer to him as “my Üstün.” He’s not only incredibly skilled and competent, but also deeply compassionate — he truly cares about his patients’ emotions and inner peace. When I was taken into the operating room, he asked me what kind of music I liked. He played that music, we took a photo together, and the whole process started in such a warm, positive, and cheerful atmosphere that I instantly forgot about fear. We were talking, laughing… and I fell asleep so peacefully that I didn’t even notice when. On the third day after surgery, I had a bit of a psychological crisis — I felt weak and found it hard to walk, and I became emotional. That’s when Dr. Üstün told me a sentence I will never forget: “This is exactly what we wanted — your body is in shock because you stopped feeding it, and that’s exactly what both of us aimed for.” Those words calmed me instantly and gave me so much strength that the very next day I walked 6 kilometers. Not only that — during the following nine days, I walked all around Istanbul on foot! This kind of attitude — professionalism, empathy, and genuine humanity — gives a patient real hope and courage. Smooth process, from booking to the transfers and accommodation that was sorted for me. The procedure (elipse balloon) was painless, I was only in the clinic one hour. Managed to lose 11lbs in one week, so I'd recommend.

I had lens replacement surgery with Associate Professor of ophthalmology Dr Derda Oder at BHT clinic in Istanbul. From the initial contact with him to the end he was very down to earth, transparent, friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. I had researched and contacted many surgeons. He suggested lenses that would be suitable for each eye and on examining me when I got there, decided one eye needed a different lens which was £150 less. He immediately informed me. He is an excellent surgeon and Hasan, his lovely, capable interpreter was there for me at all times. All the staff are very professional and attentive. The surgery went well and the aftercare was very good. On my last visit, Dr Derda said to contact them at any time if I have any questions or concerns, gave me lifetime lens passports and told me any time I was in Turkey I was to come and have a free assessment. Dr Derda is also very well priced and I’m absolutely thrilled to throw away glasses that I’ve been wearing for many decades. I highly recommend Dr Derda and his team.
