I'm writing this comment from home on day 6 of my surgery. I would like to say that I was very scared when I decided to have the operation, but when I arrived in Istanbul and got into the vehicle that was supposed to take me to the hospital, I felt very safe. When I arrived at the hospital, my translator was waiting for me and helped me settle into my room. Before my operation, all the necessary tests were carried out, x-rays were taken and my heart was examined. It was like an investigation was being conducted. The next morning Dr. visited me. Cem with my translator, answered all my questions and encouraged me to have the operation. He is both a very good doctor and very professional. After the operation, I had some pain but they gave me enough painkillers. After a few hours, I was able to walk and move around the hospital on my own. After the hospital the vehicle took me to my hotel, everything was ready for me and the hotel was very nice. I stayed in the hotel for two nights. A WhatsApp group was set up with a nutritionist, a doctor and a translator and I was immediately given all the necessary information. I'm home now and can say my surgery went great. Seven months ago, I had my gastric sleeve. Everything was very soothing. I went to Istanbul only for my surgery. To be very honest, I was very nervous about my surgery, but when I came to the clinic, I noticed that they provide their best services at a meager rate. All the staff members and doctors are concerned about the health of their patients. Within one week of hospital and & hotel stay, their clinic staff members very much cared about my health status, and I lost 42 kg in seven months. I must say this is the best experience ever in my life.
It is always quite daunting to receive cosmetic advice or surgery internationally. I'm from Australia and have experience with both medical and cosmetic hospitals, and overall, I've had positive experiences. However, the care I received at Vanity in Istanbul was far more considerate, informed, personalized, and timely. I underwent a rhinoplasty and felt reassured through all my concerns, with plenty of time to ask, re-ask, and ask again any questions I had for Dr. Kadriila. Dr. Kadriila truly took the time to explain the procedure in a way that made me feel comfortable. I was also encouraged and guided by my coordinator and English translator, Umut, to be detailed in my requests and questions. Umut was incredibly friendly, kind, considerate, and easy to communicate with, making me feel at home and at ease with the procedure and aftercare, normalizing my concerns throughout the experience (I went alone). Additionally, the recovery room was amazing, with plenty of space and comfort if you choose to bring a loved one. I was so impressed! It's been one week since I returned home, and the communication has still been consistent with both Umut and Dr. Kadriila.

I had sleep apnea and snoring surgery. I was very impressed with the hospital it’s better than any private hospital I’ve been to in the UK. All the staff were very polite, and professional and could not do enough for you. The surgeon examined me and explained what the surgery would consist of and answered any questions I had. After the surgery, I was well looked after by the team anything I needed they did. I would highly recommend, for the standard of treatment it was exceptional value for money.
