I had my gastric sleeve fitted through booking surgery in Istanbul. Every member of staff was so caring, helpful and attentive at all times. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. I definitely chose the right place to have the surgery and cannot recommend booking surgery enough.

I had a Plastic surgery. It went all perfectly well. From request to Trip at home, there was always a contact person I could talk to, if had any questions, or needed information. You start with a contact request. That you will get a contact person in your native language. With them, you can talk about everything you want to do, and any questions you have, give suggestions and make the offer specialised for you. With that, everything will go as planned. Like I said, you will always have someone to talk to for any questions or information. For me, everything went well. I would do it with vanity again. They have done everything as I requested. Just 15 minutes with Dr. Murat Üstün is enough to understand what kind of person and doctor he is — you immediately feel a sense of strength, calm, and complete trust. You stop thinking about risks and simply feel safe enough to close your eyes and let go. Now I lovingly refer to him as “my Üstün.” He’s not only incredibly skilled and competent, but also deeply compassionate — he truly cares about his patients’ emotions and inner peace. When I was taken into the operating room, he asked me what kind of music I liked. He played that music, we took a photo together, and the whole process started in such a warm, positive, and cheerful atmosphere that I instantly forgot about fear. We were talking, laughing… and I fell asleep so peacefully that I didn’t even notice when. On the third day after surgery, I had a bit of a psychological crisis — I felt weak and found it hard to walk, and I became emotional. That’s when Dr. Üstün told me a sentence I will never forget: “This is exactly what we wanted — your body is in shock because you stopped feeding it, and that’s exactly what both of us aimed for.” Those words calmed me instantly and gave me so much strength that the very next day I walked 6 kilometers. Not only that — during the following nine days, I walked all around Istanbul on foot! This kind of attitude — professionalism, empathy, and genuine humanity — gives a patient real hope and courage. P.S. I had lens replacement. The hospital was so clean, the doctor was so polite, talked me through everything. He had to do tests, pre-op and operation. He never kept me waiting. His work was 10/10. The staff were lovely. I looked around for a bit to find the best eye surgeon in Turkey and believe me, I found him. His work was skilfully precise and bang on. If you want the best, trust me, go with Dr. Derda Saglik — he's the best. His ratings and reviews say it all for him, and now I’m saying it all firsthand.
