I have just returned from Turkey after having surgery. I attended Can Hospital and can Honestly say I could not have been treated any better. The care and attention were by far the best. I had Translators who were very nice, friendly and easy to talk to with a lovely sense of humour,(Reva & Esra) nothing was too much for the staff. The hospital is clean and has a lovely vibe to it. The Surgeon was calling to see me regularly (Mustafa Eron) I will be returning for more surgery in the near future to Can Hospital. Thank you to all the staff

I found Dr Selims clinic after having 2 failed IVF cycles and no answers here in the UK. Out of all the clinics I spoke to in Istanbul, there was something about Dr Selim that stood out the most. How I was not his patient yet but he made the time to answer all of my questions over email and phone. Over a year and then months he never got tired of my questions and always responded to me. Even up until this day! There is no other clinic where you will find this type of service in the UK and maybe not even in Turkey.  It is normal to feel nervous about trying fertility treatment abroad. Unknowing how the clinic will look, or how the doctor and nurses will be in real life. However, once we arrived at the clinic from the very first meeting my mind was completely at peace. The clinic is state of art, beautiful, clean and well organised. The staff receptionists and nurses were always friendly and helpful. The clinic is in an affluent safe location. Sandra was with me through the whole treatment, she was lovely, funny and kind. What Dr Selim gave us this cycle was the best we could have asked for. He gave us answers that not one doctor in the UK could give us and I have been searching for answers for years. I was classed as unexplained infertility until Dr Selim was able to tell me and my partner what issues we had and what the plan of action should be. And of course, he was right, everything made more sense now. He is so knowledgeable and an extremely competent doctor that I truly believe god put him in my pathway for a reason. I prayed for somebody like him to help us, I prayed for answers. And I got that with Dr S. Hopefully, I will not need to return to the clinic soon, however, if I ever had to cycle again I would go back to Dr Selim's clinic (Jinepol) over and over again. When this man retires it will be a great loss for society, he really is doing this job with passion and care and that is very rare to find. If anyone has any hesitation in booking Dr Selim and Jinepol I say go to him. You will not regret it!! He doesn't sugarcoat anything and will give you the best plan of action for you! His knowledge is vast I would say better than UK doctors for sure. Dr Selim and team, thank you for everything you did for us. Hopefully, we will come back to see you in person to thank you again soon. I wish you guys all the best! You will always be a part of my family now.

Saw Dr. Braun for a mini gastric bypass with minimiser ring. I have lost 90kg in 9 months. He is European heritage so seems very blunt, but I didn't want a warm and fluffy buddy, I wanted a skilled surgeon that could do my surgery safely and confidently. He nailed it. The more I see him and his team, the warmer and fluffier he gets. The 12-month support program is a pleasure to deal with all of my food issues to ensure I get the most out of my surgery. Would definitely recommend Dr. Braun to others.

Good customer service. Easy to find for foreigners and not too expensive! I had a checkup, cavity fill with a local anesthetic, and an x-ray, all under an hour.

I recently did my TURP with Dr Muhilan. I was discharged after 3 days. I have completed one month and am fully recovered and will start my workouts again. Overall the operation was well done with no complications or pain. Dr Muhilan explained the whole procedure and the alternative Rezum procedure and the pros and cons of each. I am more comfortable when the doctor explains clearly the diagnosis and procedures clearly and patiently. His nurse was also very responsive to my Whatsapps and communication was easy. All in all I would rate Dr Muhilan highly.

Since a year and a half I'd suffered from pain at the left testicle, and the sperm cord The first diagnosis was I have varicocele D2, and I've taken the medicine for 3 months and everything was good, after that the pain has been increased significantly especially at the work, gym, or carry overweight things was difficult. Any of my day's activities were dropped because of than the bad thing was every sperm's test show lower values each month finally I've made ultrasonic and I found I have varicocele D3 5 on the left side, and 27 in the right side. It was hard to have a quick decision as it's a critical case, and the tests' values become worse I've made a search on the internet for 3 weeks to understand my case, and realize what is the best method to do surgery.. also I visited many doctors, and once I met Dr Muhsen I found he has experience beside he uses sophisticated tools in order to make the success ratio higher I did the surgery with Dr Muhsen "varicocele microscopic surgery with Doppler "and really It was a great experience as I spent less than 24 hours at the hospital. I was able to move, walk, do basic activities in the same day, the most interesting part for me was the daily vancocele's pain that I was suffering has been disappeared after the surgery immediately! Day after day I feel better, In addition, Dr Muhsen has awesome followup and quick reply for his patients. Furthermore to periodical examinations make the process passing easier. I highly recommend Dr Muhsen for such cases.

Having been stuck for months with a catheter as a result or BPH and moved from one NHS waiting list to another, I, out of curiosity, put a query into a website about getting the required procedure done abroad. I promptly received a reply from Nick Mertziotis to say that the operation the NHS and a private provider had said I needed was not recommended and he suggested a couple of others that were more appropriate and that he could do them for less than half the price private providers in the UK were looking for. He said I would be on the plane home two days after the operation. I looked him up and quickly realised he was a well-qualified, experienced and respected expert in his field. I asked a few further questions, all the time hoping an NHS appointment letter would arrive. He responded personally, promptly and helpfully to each of them. I checked out the various procedures available for my condition and became convinced that what he was suggesting was clinically optimal. He reassured me that he would do the surgery himself. Eventually, I decided to go for it. Surgery was booked for the following week and my wife and I booked flights and accommodation in Athens. We had a couple of days as tourists, then a thorough and efficient pre-op and the operation first thing the following morning. There was a full surgical team attached to me. After a few hours, I found myself back in the ward. By this stage, Mr Mertziotis had already called my wife and had arranged to meet with her to say the operation had gone well. For the following 24 hours I received very good nursing care in a small ward. Mr Mertziotis and his assistant doctor came in to see me the day of the operation and the following day and explained the procedure they had carried out, which, in the event, was a combination of two separate procedures, due to the nature of the obstruction. I was discharged after 24 hours and told to return the following day (a public holiday) to have the catheter removed. This happened, I was able to pee freely and after a final consultation with Mr Mertziotis, I was able to get on the plane home the following morning. Since getting the catheter removed, I have had no pain, including on the four-hour flight. I am home and feeling fine and am having to stop myself returning to normal activities too soon. Overall, while there were always ‘what if?’ worries about the enormity of the decision I had made, I felt throughout that I trusted Mr Mertziotis and his team and that trust has been entirely justified. I encountered the kind of medical intervention and care that I would like to think should be the norm but unfortunately wasn’t my experience in the NHS. While it is a big decision, for me it has been the right one and the experience was a very positive one. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Mertziotis and his team.
