Making the decision to find a counsellor can be a difficult task, whether it is your first time or you are returning back to counselling. Hello, I’m Eimear Scully and I’ve been working as a counsellor and psychotherapist in Dublin and Killdare for almost 20 years. I have a depth of knowledge and experience in many areas including childhood trauma, attachment, co-dependency, adoption, relationships, difficult dynamics within family relationships, workplace issues, stress, anxiety, feelings of hopelessness, depression, existential and transpersonal issues.  As of March 2026 I've moved to working fully online so I can offer my services to a wider community.  I believe that each person is completely unique and will require an individual treatment approach. While I’m trained in person-centred integrative therapy, I also have extensive experience using mindfulness based approaches to build personal awareness and the life skills you will need to effectively deal with whatever arises in your life. I've also recently completed Level Three training in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) a trauma based neuroscience backed therapy.
