Anne-Louise Foley Counselling at The Healing House - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Anne-Louise Foley Counselling at The Healing House

The Healing House, 24 O'Connell Avenue, Berkeley Road, Dublin 7
I'm currently offering both face to face and also online counselling. If you're feeling stuck in your life, or anxious, stressed, or depressed, counselling can help. I believe that you have the resources within yourself to find answers and resolve your difficulties, but may need a bit of help on this journey.  I work in an integrative way, meaning that I will use elements from different areas of psychotherapy in order to help you develop a stronger and healthier sense of yourself. It is helpful to gain some insight into the cause of the problem, and then work together with you on finding ways forward.  I hold a BA (hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from ICHAS (the Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences) and am an accredited member of the APCP and also a registered member of the BACP. I have experience and knowledge in trauma and have trained in EMDR.  Most recently I have trained in couples counselling and am now seeing couples. Please contact me for further information if this is a service you require.

Nozomi Counselling & Psychotherapy - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

Nozomi Counselling & Psychotherapy

46 Mountjoy Square South, Dublin
Affordable Counselling & Psychotherapy in Dublin City Centre My name is Simon Forsyth and I have a Diploma and First Class Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College, where I now also work as a lecturer. Nozomi is a Japanese word meaning 'hope' or 'wish'. Seeking help by talking to a professional about what is troubling you can be the first step towards bringing hope to a difficult situation and making a real change for the better. The type of therapy I offer is called Person-centred. The approach was founded by renowned psychologist Carl Rogers, who believed that everyone has an in-built capacity to grow and find their place in the world, while at the same time recognising that we may need a bit of help to do this.Working with a counsellor gives you a confidential space where you can be yourself. Whatever it is that you are struggling with or wanting to explore can be brought into the room and kept safe there for as long as you need. We all have ups and downs  in our lives - some that go on for longer than others - but the counselling relationship acknowledges that we are all unique, and will react to different situations in different ways.My aim is to offer you an accepting, non-judgemental environment where you are really listened to, where you can grow, and where you can find your own answers, in your own time.

After a couple of sessions, I could already see a difference in my approachKevin, Ireland, 18 02 20

Just finished 8 weeks of Counselling with James and I must say what a difference it has made to my life. I was somewhat sceptical entering counselling again after a couple of negative experiences with previous counsellors. With James it was different. He has an amazing skill of making you feel really calm and relaxed in his presence. I was suffering from anxiety due to work-related stress which was also affecting my relationship with my partner. James used various techniques to help me focus and relax and also encouraged me to challenge my negative train of thought using Cognitive behavioural therapy. This really helped relieve my anxiety. After a couple of sessions, I could already see a difference in my approach and outlook. The Counselling centre is perfectly located and very convenient to reach by public transport. All in all my experience of the Counselling sessions with James were extremely positive. He is a very skilled counsellor and comes highly recommended.

Crossroad Counselling

46 Mount Joy Square South, Dublin, Dublin 1

Our clients are given the unique opportunity to enhance their therapy with the help of an online technology with a range of resources to track their mood or anxiety, log and evaluate their thinking in particular situations, and observe associated emotions – all conveniently on their smartphone or tablet, without paperwork, and tailored to each individual client. We offer a range of therapeutic approaches for clients dealing with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, addiction, eating disorders, low self-esteem and self-harming/suicidal behaviours.
Bereavement Counselling up to €70
We offer warm, supportive counselling to enable clients, and those near to them, deal with their grief, through death, stillbirth, miscarriage, etc.
Psychotherapist Consultation up to €70
In the initial consultation therapist and client can establish whether they can do therapeutic work together. For the therapist, this involves assessing what type of therapeutic support the client needs and whether this is within the therapists realm of services offered. For the client, it involves whether they feel comfortable and safe enough within this particular therapeutic environment to bring whatever they need to the sessions.
CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy up to €70
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that emphasizes the important role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. It is based on the idea that our thoughts cause our feelings and behaviors, not external things, like people, situations, and events. The benefit of this fact is that we can change the way we think to feel better even if the situation does not change.
