Overall every session with her was good for meJohn, Ireland, 29 09 24

Diamante my therapist was very pleasant, but at the same time asked me difficult questions. She probed deep into my past, and got me to express feelings that I hadn’t done with anyone before. Overall every session with her was good for me The only drawback for me is that I live over 100 miles from the clinic and I can only get an appointment on Saturday. A midweek appointment would be much easier for me.

I am a fully qualified psychotherapist with a Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from University College Cork having completed four years of training in Turning Point Training Institute. I am an  accredited member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (I.A.H.I.P). In the area of equality I did a significant amount of work with gay, lesbian and transgender clients, clients with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities both in relation to employment and services. In the equality and refugee areas I worked with people from many different cultural backgrounds. Connecting Mindfully Counselling - Connecting Mindfully Counselling Dublin

Connecting Mindfully Counselling

56a Marian Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 24, D14HX74
When something in your life is not how you'd like it to be, or when you're looking for help and support for something that you're going through; perhaps a life event, a particular concern or maybe problems with relationships, at home, in school or at work. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, frustration, fear, sadness or other emotions. Stress can be a part of this. Counselling can help you to better understand what might be going on for you and to find ways to effectively manage feelings, thoughts or worries. My experience is that clients come to counselling because they want something in their life to be different. I appreciate that it's often not easy to come to counselling. I welcome clients with warmth and openness and a non-judgemental listening ear. I am a Person-Centred Therapist and I use ACT, CBT and Choice Theory to help clients work through an issue or to help them shine a new light on an area of their life that is not currently how they would like it to be. Sometimes what we need is to be listened to and heard. Coming to see a therapist is a brave step towards getting support. Allowing yourself to talk about and express what you are experiencing might be what you need at this time. We often don't 'press pause' in our lives, and we often don't give ourselves the time or space to check in with ourselves. She was a great person as well, and every session felt so welcoming and brightKerri, UK, 29 02 24

I went to see Jennifer over five years ago now, and she really helped me change my life. I saw her for 1-2 years. Even now years later, I still remember the advice she gave me. That’s the mark of a great therapist, their help lives on long after the sessions end. She helped me grow as a young women, helped me manage the final years of my PhD, and helped me think for myself amidst all my childhood trauma recovery. She was a great person as well, and every session felt so welcoming and bright. I still remember how light I felt leaving the session. I can’t thank her enough, if you are looking for a therapist in Dublin, please go to Jennifer. I moved to England since, and tried a few therapists, none could ever reach her standard!!
