Ονομάζομαι Μάρθα Καλάνα και είμαι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Ψυχολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης (2008). Έχω ολοκληρώσει Μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Συμβουλευτική στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Εδιμβούργου (2010) καθώς και στη Δικανική Ψυχολογία, στο Πανεπιστήμιο UCLan Cyprus (2022). Έχω επίσης εκπαιδευτεί στη Διαχείριση του τραύματος, στη Διαπαιδαγώγηση παιδιών και Εφήβων, στη Συμβουλευτική ζευγαριών και οικογένειας και στη Διαχείριση του Διαζυγίου, στο Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών (2015-2018). Έχω άδεια ασκήσεως επαγγέλματος ψυχολόγου τόσο στην Ελλάδα (αρ: 6561), όσο και στην Κύπρο (αρ: 846). Εργάστηκα στο Σύνδεσμο για την Πρόληψη και Αντιμετώπιση της Βίας στην Οικογένεια ως Λειτουργός του Χώρου Φιλοξενίας θυμάτων ενδοοικογενειακής βίας και στο Hope for Children ως Οικογενειακή Σύμβουλος, στο Σπίτι του Παιδιού, το οποίο διαχειρίζεται υποθέσεις σεξουαλικής κακοποίησης ανηλίκων. Εργάστηκα επίσης στον τομέα της Προληπτικής Εργασίας και Στήριξης Οικογενειών με Ανήλικα στις Υπηρεσίες Κοινωνικής Ευημερίας. Στην παρούσα φάση εργάζομαι στο Συμβουλευτικο σταθμό Οδυσσέας, ο οποίος βρίσκεται κάτω από την ομπρέλα του ΚΕΝΘΕΑ και παρέχω υπηρεσίες αξιολόγησης και θεραπείας σε εξαρτημένα άτομα. Επίσης είμαι συνεργάτης στο Compass Psychotherapy and Social Support Centre και παρέχω υπηρεσίες ψυχοθεραπείας και προσωπικής ανάπτυξης. Ray is an author, trainer, coach, therapist and speaker, he was trained by Richard Bandler to become a master practitioner in N.L.P. and Hypnosis, and he has advanced study and training of Anthony Robbins N.A.C Techniques and is a practitioner of Havening. His ongoing training and passion to help others started in 1995 and still continues today, his ultimate goal is to share his knowledge and help others to overcome the challenges they face. His pillars of healing and discovery integrate Havening, hypnosis and N.L.P which creates a powerful tool for intervention, healing, recovery and success conditioning. He specialises in pain control, rediscovery of self and emotional change techniques to free people from their traumatisation of life and the effects it has on them. He has been in private practice since 1996.

I provide professional counselling and psychotherapy services on a one to one basis in which the client is encouraged to compassionately engage with their challenging thoughts, behaviours and emotions. Through understanding and acceptance real change is possible and a new way of being can be discovered. Whether clients are struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, grief, low self-esteem, relational problems, sexuality, or issues with their identity counselling and psychotherapy can help.My work is non-directive, focusing on non-judgmental empathetic alignment with the client. Of primary importance to a successful therapeutic outcome for a client is fostering a secure and trust-worthy working relationship. I do not provide a one-size fits all therapy but instead tailor my work to suit the needs, history and behaviours of each individual client. I believe that within each of us is contained a seed for growth that has been more or less nurtured depending on our life history. I see my role as helping the client to uncover and nourish that seed, to help it flourish. My wish for my clients is that together we may discover the strength, love and wisdom contained at their centre.
