The beautiful smiles created at our practice are principally the work of Dr. Mark Hughes. His commitment to the utmost in quality has made him a highly regarded cosmetic dentist in London. Dr. Hughes received his post-graduate qualifications from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London. He is a Platinum rank Invisalign® provider, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Mark is highly sought after by actors and other celebrities in search of advanced cosmetic dentistry. He is the consultant dentist for Equity, the Musician’s and Actors Benevolent Fund, the British Performing Arts Trust and he makes regular appearances on television and in print as an expert cosmetic dentist. He also consults in Cosmetic Dentistry for several national Cosmetic surgery groups.

Dr. Adam Thorne became a joint owner of Harley Street Dental Studio in January 2008. He qualified from Bristol University, where he won the Oral Surgery prize. He then worked in London for two years and in an elite private practice in Sydney, Australia, for one year. On returning to London he enthusiastically pursued his interests in comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry, working for a large corporate group. As a clinical board member for the largest Dental Corporate Body, he was responsible for auditing a number of their dentists and lecturing to dental undergraduates

Dr. Nick Fahey received his training as a dental surgeon in his native New Zealand before partnering with Dr. Mark Hughes and the team of cosmetic dentists at Harley Street Dental Studio. Dr. Fahey has successfully completed the distinguished qualifications necessary to earn him membership in Restorative Dentistry for the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh as well as a fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgery. After having pursued three years of full-time postgraduate work at UCL Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Health Sciences, Dr. Fahey obtained the M.Clin.Dent in fixed and removable prosthodontics. Today, Dr. Fahey’s areas of interest include dental implants, as well as aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Working with cosmetic dentist Dr. Mark Hughes at their London practice, Dr. Fahey divides his time between his role as doctor and his charitable commitment to various societies and organisations.

Dr. Tinti has a special interest in periodontology, having earned special honours from the University of Bologna before moving on to train and garner much of his clinical and surgical experience in periodontics at New York University. From NYU, Dr. Tinti obtained a Masters of Science in periodontics at King’s College of London before joining our team at Harley Street Dental Studio, where he continues his work in periodontology while exploring the areas of gum cosmetics and pre-prosthetic surgical procedures.

Dr. Sarah Burns comes to Harley Street Dental Studio as our specialist orthodontist. She qualified with honours in 1985 from University College Hospital Dental School, London. She gained her fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England in 1991, an MSc in Orthodontics from the University of London in 1994, and her membership in Orthodontics in 1995 following her post graduate studies at Guys Hospital, London. Sarah has impressive experience in treating adults using orthodontics, including Invisalign®, and is practiced in the use of orthodontics in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
