I had to have quite a lot of work done on my teeth including root canal treatment. I have high levels of anxiety and a phobia of needles, I needed to be sedated for the treatment. Contemporary dental were fantastic from start to finish, they were very considerate of my needs and fears. I choose them because they were willing to go the extra mile in helping me get the treatment i needed. They are a professional, friendly and caring team.
At last I've found a way of leaving a review! I have been going to Abi for hygienist treatment for about four years and she is always cheerful, careful and friendly. She knows to have the paste ready for me to deaden any pain! She's great! I also want to say how fantastic Stratos is as a dentist. I have had two appointments with him, the first being a check-up. The most recent was this week when I needed urgent treatment for a tooth that was aching. It turned out to be in a bad state and needed to be extracted. Following a very traumatic extraction five years ago at another practice (the dentist has fortunately now retired) I was very nervous indeed but Stratos put me at ease and it didn't hurt much at all - really! I was so grateful to him and his assistant.
Well here I am, 11 months into my treatment consisting of almost a full mouth of dental implants. I did months of research before I chose this practice, I knew it was a huge undertaking and commitment and I was extremely nervous. The chairs that I have my treatment in are out of this world! So comfy I've even nodded off during treatment and had to be poked awake! I'm almost finished treatment, as I write this today, my implants are about to have the first fitting tomorrow and I'm so excited. I've carefully chosen from the options available, with expert advice and after a whole year I will finally have a perfect smile again. I'm 66 now and a smoker so if I can do it, so can you! It's the best decision of my life. I'd like to say a special thank you to Doctor Aziz, who has looked after me so well, he can make you laugh through the whole process, which is a gift in itself. The prices were completely fair when the standard of treatment is considered. I've never had such professional people looking after my smile before!
