They pulled out the stops! Rang early on a Monday morning about a problem with a particular tooth, a long-time potential candidate for extraction which seemed about due as it was flaring up. Was expecting to wait some while for an appointment to start off a procedure that would lead to extraction at the hospital because of various complexities. Saw Nancy within 2 hours, examined, and discussed all options including issues caused by my drug list and allergies. Referral to hospital dental service but with a plan if the pain becomes worse. Impossible to get better attention from all concerned - and as an NHS patient. Thanks one and all.
My appointment was for a consultation with a view to having dental implant work done. My dentist had recommended two local dental practices and this was the second one I visited. Smile seemed to me to be doing the work over a longer timescale which I felt was better in order to allow sufficient time for healing which would in turn give a more viable result.
I was there yesterday Saturday and I'm the most nervous guy in the world I felt sick entering the door but once in there felt like I was home lovely staff and very helpful. Going into the chair went downhill but the nurse and Dapo were fantastic with me I had a clean tooth out and must admit didn't feel it coming out. I cannot thank Jo Giddy enough for the excellent work she has done in providing me with new dentures. The attention to detail in making the new dentures look so natural and fit so precisely is much appreciated. Jo took several impressions to ensure that the new metal horseshoe-shaped dentures fit with no gaps for food traps, were exceptionally comfortable to wear, and provided me with a smile that looked natural. Previously, I had a denture that made me embarrassed to smile, due to my teeth being uneven from gum disease. Now, I can smile for the first time in many years and eat food that was previously impossible to eat. Thank you, Jo, for your patience and attention to detail in providing me with a denture that will last for the rest of my life.
