The A dental bridge is a fixed long lasting solution for replacing a missing tooth or teeth. A dental bridge can also be highly aesthetic cosmetically replacing missing teeth. 

There are different types of bridges. This type of bridge (conventional) works by preparing the teeth either side of the gap as crowns and are used to support the bridge.

If you have several missing teeth, you may not need an implant root for every missing tooth. This simplifies treatment and reduces the cost considerably. For example, if you are missing four front teeth, these can be replaced by placing just two implant roots and these can be used to support a block, or bridge of four teeth. Root fillings removes infected or damaged tissue from inside a tooth. This tissue, called the pulp, contains nerves and blood vessels that help nourish the tooth. After the pulp is removed, the pulp chamber and root canals are cleaned, disinfected, filled and sealed. A filling will placed on top but we do advise most root filled teeth are crowned within 6-12 months of the root canal treatment being completed.
