Full Mouth Rehabilitation Tijuana

The cost of my last visit to a local dentist was so shocking to me that I went straight home and hopped on the computer, Destination Tijuana! Thank God, it led us to: Dr Juan Funes of FunesSmile.com. The man is an artist. He transformed 15 of my teeth into nice, clean, straight, unchipped teeth that I wholeheartedly believe will last the rest of my life. He placed fifteen crowns in my mouth overall—5 implants, 2 root canals, and all 8 top front teeth—in one day, for a third of what the locals wanted to charge for less work. And I had salad AND steak that night! The field of dentistry now uses 3D printing for crowns, so that helped a lot with the fit no doubt, but I also know it could’ve gone way differently if he wasn’t so GOOD at what he does! It’s been a week today and I have never had pain or discomfort. I like how we (my husband and I) were pretty much THE patients in the office each of the two weeks we’ve been. A couple of days were 3 and 4-hour visits, during which time the whole staff was involved or very nearby. I have never in my life felt so considered and cared for in a dr office. From the moment we were picked up at the San Diego airport til the moment our driver whisked us past a 3-hour wait to get back out of Mexico (If Luis mentions needing a $40 medical pass say Yes! Trust me.)

I have had two visits with Dr Maite Moreno in Dec 2021 and in Jan 2023. She has done a tremendous amount of work in a short time- extractions, root canals, posts for implants, new crowns. She has nearly redone my entire mouth, which needed it badly as I had my teeth capped in 2001. She has done a fantastic job- she really knows what she is doing. I'll be returning in June to finish the implants. I highly recommend her!!
