Implant Dental Center Tijuana

I am from Las Vegas. I was going to a dentist in Tijuana called Gumwise, which was horrible, charging me so much, but literally I was getting worse, had mouth sores from their uncleaned instruments. I was at a loss...completely.In Las Vegas, I could not afford the dentist, and they were more interested in selling me X-rays than getting to the problem. Always going to different dentists to get work done, but they wanted so much money, which I could not afford. So, being that I already understood how to get to Tijuana from Guatemala. I take a shuttle its easy for me to go at night and arrive by daylight.

I recommend that if you can, and don't like to drive far. It is safe and secure. I pretty much go at night and arrive about 430 am. There are shuttles everywhere, so check into it. How Tijuana works is very simple... it is just a walk through the San Ysidro border by San Diego, and within three minutes, leaving the border, you are met with a line of taxis in Tijuana. To get to Maite Moreno Delgados at New City is quick from the border. She will meet you in New City, a super-modern, gigantic medical facility- you can walk to that in about 15 minutes. She's all about accuracy. When I first met her, she was this sweet older lady with perfect hair. I was always amazed by how active and robust her mental activity is. She gave me a nice hello and immediately took me into this medical facility, which has a very nice X-ray office. Super modern, I was amazed, and believe me, for me to be amazed, it takes something special. That's how I can describe this dentist -she just has it. She seems to know everyone who's anybody in the dental world over there. X-rays, I think, for Panorama was 50; instantly, they give you the X-ray. The first appointment is the longest because she literally goes over everything and uses the X-ray. Most dentists, even the one I saw before, felt it was unnecessary. Not Maite, she explained to me that sometimes there are things you cannot see with the eye, or it may look like a little something, but X-rays, combined with her extreme knowledge, made the total difference.

I was so damaged by the other dentist. I was like testing her to see if she knew her stuff because I was not going to be tricked again
I discovered her from researching the best dentists in Tijuana, and her name came up again and again.

She not only passed the test but also worked on me beyond my expectations. She gave me my different options and was super detailed. She's been a dentist for over 25 years, and it really shows. She has the most endearing and kindest 💖 assistant. Denise, who made my experience better. She's so into her job every minute, supporting Maite, that I felt I was in the hands that needed to be in. Sometimes angels do exist, and I needed this one. She put on a crown from Attelier. One thing I will say is that other dentists in Tijuana don't do is tell you where they get their crowns from. She uses Attelier, which uses images from another computer placed in a new city its similar to a sonogram. It does some type of 3d image that is sent directly to this lab
How it was explained to me is that it's to make the contact the tightest, so there is no infiltration
.That's exactly the type of crown I needed more than happy with that.
My crowns were all leaking, causing me too much pain. It takes appointments. Usually, a crown takes two days for the lab to complete. My personal recommendation is to stay a few days and get stuff done so you don't need to get a long-term temp. Denise even picked me up from my hotel. We travelled in a mini bus, which is public transportation, costing about 15 pesos. Maitre's office is 20 minutes from New City its nice and recently remodelled. I saw its transformation since she's been doing different things on my for about two months. I'm now in the happy phase, my mouth is sane. I go back to her for my cleanings because I trust her and feel it's needed.

Not all dentists are good, not all dentists care. This is where Maite stands out, and I went through the whole process with her from start to finish. Exams, cleanings, root canals, crowns, and implants. I'm leaving my email in case anybody has questions about how to get around, my experiences, or even where to eat near the dental clinic. I just went to the border with my passport in hand, looking to fix my teeth...So, in conclusion, to me as dentists go its just Maite Moreno Delgado. I found my gold standard, and I am not changing...took a minute to discover after looking a bit ..In case you ever read this, Maite..thank you, I can finally smile, and I appreciate all the work you have done... It's literally life-changing, and I can finally eat without pain...I'll be back in 4 months for my cleaning too.😀

I have been to Dr. Moreno multiple times over a 12-year period for Implants and other dental procedures. Polite and Professional, with a high standard of care.

Maite Moreno DDS MS is a phenomenal dentist, who also cares for her patients making you feel at ease being in the Dentist chair. She is outstanding. A wonderful experience from start to finish, despite the pain that necessitated the visit I would and have recommend her to others. She is a high-quality dentist and a high-quality person. She makes you feel secure in having her take care of your most treasured possessions. I couldn't have asked for a better experience taking into consideration the reason for my visit.

I have had two visits with Dr Maite Moreno in Dec 2021 and in Jan 2023. She has done a tremendous amount of work in a short time- extractions, root canals, posts for implants, new crowns. She has nearly redone my entire mouth, which needed it badly as I had my teeth capped in 2001. She has done a fantastic job- she really knows what she is doing. I'll be returning in June to finish the implants. I highly recommend her!!

Dr. Moreno is proficient, professional, and compassionate. I am a cancer survivor who needed ALL my teeth fixed. Dr. Moreno uses laser technology, completely disinfected my "at risk" unhealthy mouth, gave me a new set of teeth. AND I had NO PAIN and took no pain killers. Hi I usually don’t do this but I have to go out of my way and let you know about the experience I had visiting Dra. Maite Moreno Delgado this past month. She was so helpful and walked me through my visit to Tijuana and I stayed at this Hotel she recommended which was great and the location was very nice. Her office was nice and clean. First day we had lunch together she made me feel comfortable being in Mexico with her. I drove from Los Angeles to see her and to anyone looking to visit her I recommend her to anyone, what a sweet person she is and very good at what she does. Thank you.

Dr. Moreno did a wonderful job with the extraction of my infected molar. She was very meticulous in removing all of the material and not affecting the adjacent teeth or remaining bone. I look forward to her completing the procedure with the final implant. I would highly recommend her to others who are looking for a highly skilled dentist and are trying to avoid the overpriced dentists in California.

From the very first moment I got in touch with Dr. Moreno, she was very kind and thoughtful, heard very carefully my concerns and proposed a solution to it.

Her dental centre is pretty well located in Tijuana. She always made I was okay and comfortable, which is something I appreciate a lot. Her assistants were also very nice to me and treated me right.

Dr. Moreno applied a laser technique which was really good for the problem I had and was the right solution to it. I feel really good I made the decision to choose her as my dental care doctor.

Even after I left Tijuana she has been following up on the progress of the treatment, which is great and tells you how much she cares about her patients. For sure next time I need a dental service I will come back to Tijuana to visit Dr. Moreno's clinic!

Despite reading the many good reviews of this clinic on this site, my experience was not positive.

After initially reaching out to this clinic to repair some gum recession, the "doctor" sent me a quote for bone grafts. I didn't feel confident about the diagnosis and still had concerns, so I pushed the thought aside for months. I somehow convinced myself that she'd be able to repair my bone loss and booked an appointment in August 2020 so she could perform a biopsy and take my SC's. At the time, she didn't have an office of her own, which was rather suspicious.

The doctor also required that I make deposits into her Zelle account before the actual surgery. This was one of a few red flags that I should have noticed. Poor planning on my part.

I finally got the surgery in September and initially thought the surgery had gone well. Over the next few months, I noticed that the gums had receded again and I had some strange lumps left in my alveolar bone around my teeth. I booked another appointment with the clinic (i.e., the doctor) and returned to TJ, where I got a CBCT scan revealing all the work she'd done and didn't do. The results were far below what was expected.

This entire ordeal has been completely awful. I strongly recommend finding a different clinic to help you with your dental needs.

Dr Moreno and staff helped me get through a difficult time. Dr Moreno and staff are very knowledgeable in their profession. She did an amazing job with a complicated procedure. Dr Moreno is a perfectionist and I would recommend taking the extra effort on crossing the border. I am happy with the results of the dental implants ( upper implants and full lower). I recently visited Dr Moreno's Implant Dental Center for a little surgery, two posts and two crowns. It took two separate visits with a six month healing period after the first. In the past, I have reacted very badly to dental surgery, root canals, tooth extractions and other such procedures. Infections and considerable treatment with antibiotics seem to be characteristic for me following one of those events. With Dr Moreno, I had absolutely no issues whatsoever. After the initial invasive procedure, I was waiting for the proverbial "axe" to drop. It didn't. Everything went extremely well and I saved a fortune!

I went to Tijuana because I was told that I needed two implants in the States for a huge amount of money $15,000. When I first contacted the implant centre a few people called me back but Dr Maite Moreno was very thorough and explicit as to what she would do and how she would go about it and the cost involved depending on what she found was needed. I was a bit fearful because of the trouble at the border with the immigrant's situation. She assuaged my fears and it was a breeze getting there and back, thanks to the medical pass and her actually coming with us in the car to cross on the way back as she had business in San Diego.

When I arrived she immediately told me she was going to try to save the two teeth in question after x-raying them. Then she and her team did just that! Root canals and crown at a cost of $1900.00 complete with perfect porcelain crowns. She was very professional and I felt very confident during the whole process.

Once again do not be afraid of the border crossing. Getting across took 10 minutes and with the medical pass getting back across to the States took about an hour.

The clinic was gated and felt very safe. It was clean and had all the up to date equipment and her team was professional in every way. The root canal doctor was in another office and I was driven there by my hotel van each time (excellent hotel Pueblo amigo recommended by Dr Maite Moreno).

Since I did not want to come down again (wait two weeks) for the crown they rushed getting the crown as a favour to me. It is perfect. I was very impressed with the whole procedure and operation.
