Dentoamerica - Puerto Vallarta

(866) 679-8168 #430 Tepic-Vallarta, Local #C20, Puerto Vallarta, 63735
Rating from 117 Reviews It was worth itJennifer, Calgary, 25 Apr 17

I had 3 root canals and 3 fillings completed in 5 days. It was a bit painful, but the experience and savings was well worth it. (It would have been painful at home too). I was very hesitant and scared to go. I didn't know anyone that had been and heard a lot of horror stories from friends, families and local dentists. I spoke with Kirk and felt very comfortable. Once I was there, it was amazing. The people are fabulous, the office is modern, comfortable and extremely clean. They were very detailed and thorough with my exam and were helpful in dealing with my mild anxiety. Top notch professionals! I had my work done in July of last year and I wanted to wait until my local dentist had seen the work for her opinion. She said everything looks great! (What more can you expect?) Very happy and will be returning in July this year.

Dental Office Puerto Vallarta

Plaza Marina Suite G24 and G25, Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, 48335
Rating from 25 Reviews I have not had any issues and don't expect I willMrs_Charlene, Canada, 03 Apr 18

I had major dental work done on several occasions in Canada at a cost of well over 50K. Each time the work failed, so I found myself back at a periodontist now having to resort to dental implants. I had one done at a cost of 6K and so far, all is well. I knew it was inevitable that I would need several more implants. I was sharing my story with a friend, she told me that she and her husband had been having their dental work done in Mexico for years due to the quality and at a fraction of what it costs in Canada. My first reaction was "are you kidding me"! My husband and I then did a bit of research online, reading various reviews and testimonies of others from Canada and the US that had work done in Mexico. We did not see one negative comment. We soon discovered other friends and friends of friends also had their work done in Mexico. They were very pleased with the outcome and the cost. We wanted to have the work done in Puerto Vallarta, as we generally travel there once a year for vacation. We called a couple clinics and chose the one we did because they were prompt to contact us. The office Manager spoke very good English so language was not a barrier. My treatment is ongoing but on my first trip (with treatment over three days) I had 10 implants, 6 extractions and 6 root canals. The cost of 10 implants alone in Canada would have been 60K. We chose Dr Leticia Armas Tejeda's clinic located at Plaza Marina because of the quick response to our inquiry and the fact that Jose, the Office Manager, spoke very good English. We communicated via text and email without any difficulty. I was picked up at the Hotel by Jose and taken to the clinic where I met Dr Leticia who is lovely. A major plus for this clinic is Dr Karen. She too speaks amazing English and was so very helpful and caring. You can imagine how nervous I was but she was with me through each treatment explaining what was going on. They have a team of specialists doing each procedure. She even went as far as to go to the pharmacy with us, to make sure we got what we needed because we only speak Poquito Spanish. I will return on the 31st of October 2018, to have the crowns and bridges completed. Dr Karen keeps in touch getting updates on how I am doing. I have not had any issues and don't expect I will.

Rating from 13 Reviews This is my second trip to see the doctor so I knew I was in expert handsPaul, San Francisco California, 05 May 18

I went to have two lower front teeth crowned, Benjamin had already quoted for the work. It worked out I needed the same treatment for three teeth. My original estimate was approximately $400 per tooth my new estimate came in at $325 per tooth. This is my second trip to see Dr. Armenta so I knew I was in expert hands, he did a dental implant 4 years ago and had no issues. My new porcelain crowns match perfectly in color and natural appearance.

Porcelain Crown
Dental Crowns
A natural look for broken and cracked teeth  If you want a smile of glory, you may need a crown to restore the tooth to its normal shape and size. A porcelain crown (also called embedding) covers a tooth to restore its normal shape and size, strengthening and improving the appearance of a tooth. Severe Best Teeth Stains Porcelain Veneer Veneer Application Best Treatment The advantages of crowns include: * Size, shape, texture and color can be controlled. * Return of aesthetics and function. * Can be used on damaged or broken teeth Although porcelain crowns require the reduction of more tooth structure than the veneers, so they are generally stronger than the veneers. Porcelain crowns look like natural teeth and are often stronger than the original teeth. A new crown should last six to eight years. Crowns, however, can last much longer with the application of good oral hygiene and supervision. Moreover, teeth grinding, chewing ice, biting your nails and could significantly decrease the duration of a crown. Dental Crowns  For very damaged teeth, dental crowns can be an effective option. The crown placement procedure involves the use of dental tooth-shaped cover made of metal, ceramic or porcelain to restore strength and eliminate discomfort. In addition, dental crowns can be used to anchor a dental bridge or to cap a dental implant post.Types of Dental Crowns  Dental crowns are made of metal, ceramic or porcelain fused to metal. The type of crown that is used during the procedure will depend on the individual needs and goals, as well as the recommendation of the dentist.

Odonto Klinik

Av. los tules # 277 2nd floor, Puerto Vallarta, 48328
Rating from 24 Reviews Could never go to any other dentist againStephanie, Panama, 05 Dec 16

Dr. Juan Claudio Taborga and Dr. Arlette de Alba have the most gentle hands that will ever touch your mouth. Teeth cleaning, cavity filling, night guard I had my procedure perfectly shown to me on a live webcam so large you could see the whole thing as it happened. The materials and product they use for your teeth are first rate, and not found even in most dental clinics in the States. Dr. Taborga's hand is so precise and his work so thorough, the cavity was filled in what seemed no time. I was super impressed and grateful, especially since getting dental work done can be a bit unnerving. I guess what impressed me the most, though, is their philosophy of preferring the most non-invasive procedures, when possible. They recommended and instructed me on the most current oral higiene techniques, and truly put an emphasis on preventive medicine. That, I can really appreciate in a physician. My night guard was made on time and it fit perfectly. Odonto Klinik is beautifully clean, sleek and inviting. The office assistants are charming dentistry students who'll make you right at ease. All staff are perfectly conversational in English and the doctor is fluent. These dentists are artists of the mouth. Could never go to any other dentist again. I can't recommend them enough!

Rating from 35 Reviews I will never go to anyone else ever againPatricia, Canada, 20 Sep 16

Dr Alberto Hernandez Figueroa is without question the best I have known! I received 12 porcelain crown's with just two sittings, for a cost of $5,000 CDN. There is no where you could have gotten this at this price, with the treatment received. I will never go to anyone else ever again. Thank you so very much. My experience at this clinic was the best. Everything was spotless and modern. One could never ask for more.

Porcelain Crown $440 - $550
Porcelain dental crowns. Some dental crowns are fabricated in a manner where their full thickness is porcelain (dental ceramic). These crowns can possess a translucency that makes them the most cosmetically pleasing of all of the different types of dental crowns
Dental Crowns $440 - $550
One-Price for Porcelain over Metal Crowns including x-rays, temporaries, and build-ups if necessary. Because porcelain crowns cover your entire tooth, they often provide good solutions for severe problems i.e. a bad fracture, a large filling, a tooth that has had root canal treatment, and in situations where one or several teeth are missing. When teeth cannot be saved, dental implants and bridges are a great option to replace missing teeth. As with other techniques, crowns can correct a wide range of problems. They are durable and strong, so replacements are needed less often. The difference between crowns and laminates (or porcelain inlays) is that more tooth structure is removed. This is required to allow adequate space for the restorative material to have appropriate strength, esthetics… and healthy gum contour. The types of crowns that are commonly used are:1.Porcelain fused to metal quality. 2.Porcelain jacket crown 3.100% Porcelain and Art Glass.Porcelain
Temporary Crown $200 - $300
Temporary crownsTemporary dental crowns are usually cemented into place using "temporary" cement so they can be removed easily at the time of your next dental appointment. Because this cement is not as strong as other types of dental cement, your dentist will probably suggest to you that you take some precautions so not to dislodge your temporary crown.Resin crownsA resin crown is made from a special mixture of microscopic particles and cosmetic dental resin. The particles resemble tiny pieces of glass mixed into the resin, which is then cured to harden and strengthen the compound.Zirconia Crowns:Zirconia is the best material available for bridges and for creating a strong translucent tooth that rivals all-porcelain crowns. Zirconia crowns are significantly less expensive than all-porcelain crowns, and about the same price as gold-based metal-porcelain crowns (slightly higher than stainless steel). Also, because zirconia substrates can be milled with a laser milling machine, the substrates tend to fit better and are less labor-intensive than either a metal-procelain or all-porcelain solution, providing a superior product with a quicker turn-around at a lower cost.

Rating from 4 Reviews As enjoyable as dental work can beJames, US, 28 Jul 15

I had a crown put onto a molar tooth while in Mexico from the United States. Ms Pena had an excellent command of English and was a good communicator in telling me the options for the crown and the process she would follow in doing the work. As enjoyable as dental work could be. And, it was much, much, less expensive than having this sort of work being performed in the United States. The reception room was very clean and neat with comfortable chairs and couch. The dental area was likewise clean and neat with a modern chair and comfortable seating. I would highly recommend Ms Pena for any of your dental work.
