Rating from 121 Reviews They were knowledgeable, patient and only cared about providing the best results for meJenny, US, 05 Nov 18

I had quite a bit of work done. 2 Zirconia-Porcelain Crowns, Zirconia 3 Tooth Bridge, 4 (2-surface) fillings, 2 (3-surface) fillings, Ultrasonic Cleaning, Whitening and 8 Whitening Syringes. I paid $2453.66 U.S. Dollars at DentoAmerica in Puerto Vallarta, Nayarit estimate from dental Office in the U.S. $8226.00. (I went to two different clinics). I saved 70% by going to Dentoamerica; I saved 66% if I include my flight cost. Dentoamerica - Puerto Vallarta is extremely clean, with state-of-the-art equipment on par or surpassing any dental office I visited in the area where I live. Professional accounting of costs and estimates were provided. The office staff was amazing and kind. The dentists who did my work were of the best I have experienced regarding skill and in discussing options. They were knowledgeable, patient and only cared about providing the best results for me. I had quite a bit of work done in a relatively short amount of time, however, they never rushed any of the work. Kirk one of the owners was incredibly patient in helping me to understand a couple of my concerns. I am so satisfied. I could not have afforded to get all this work done for a few more years.

Rating from 30 Reviews We now have beautiful smilesLouise, Canada, 24 Aug 17

The dentist performed 26 crowns and 2 bridges on me, not one tooth of my mouth was left untouched. My husband had 7 crowns, one root canal and a bone transplant done for a future implant. We are very please with the results. After 3 weeks of extreme sensibility, everything is back to normal but after all, it was a big surgery. It was all worth it. We now have beautiful smiles. The dentist is professional. The staff is very friendly. The secretary speaks English and answered all our questions. Especially Jose who picked us up so many times at the hotel and was very funny and helpful. There was no pressure to make a quick decision. While waiting for the treatment, they offered us dinner and took us where we wanted to go. They understood the fear of having a treatment done in a country where you don't know the language and the rules. My husband is already thinking of doing more work. We recommend the clinic.

Rating from 24 Reviews They were so kind and caring to do this on their day off and on a SundayDon, US, 11 Sep 18

Follow up to Implant Review. I had mentioned in a prior post how my procedures went very well. So, three days after receiving my treatment I was eating a meal and the temporary crown became loose. Most likely my fault but nonetheless I luckily had already booked a return flight to Vallarta for the weekend. I contacted Dr Claudio T and told him about my problem. He and Dr Arlette met me at their office on a Sunday afternoon. We decided it was best to change courses and construct multiple mouthguards with a tooth embedded to replace my missing tooth for the duration of the healing process. They worked on these items for over two hours and made perfect fitting mouthguards. They were so kind and caring to do this on their day off and on a Sunday no doubt. To top it off, there was no charge. I cannot imagine this happening in the USA on a Sunday, let alone for no extra charge. They felt it was their responsibility to take care of me as a patient. I cannot express my gratitude fully for all they have done thus far. The experience has been wonderful! Thank you very much, Dr Claudio T and Dr Arlette!

I had my teeth cleaned ($50 USD) and it was one of the best and easiest I have ever had - the dental hygienist was great. I also had an old crown removed and a new all porcelain crown put in place ($550 USD) - the hardest part of the whole procedure was getting the old crown off. I also had a 4-tooth partial made ($700 USD) and my husband and I both had night guards made ($100 each USD). For a total of $1500 USD we were so very pleased - at my local dentist in the US, the crown alone would have been $1500 for all porcelain. At one point Dr. Hernandez thought I might need a root canal so he set up the appointment and drove me & my husband to meet with the specialist. As luck would have it, it turned out I did not need a root canal. Dr. Hernandez also is so very gentle with his work - he gives the best shot I've ever had from a dentist - I never even felt it. I first spoke to Dr. Hernandez over the phone and just had an overall good feeling after speaking with him about my procedures. My overall experience with the International Dental Center and Dr. Hernandez was 100% wonderful. The clinic is very clean and he has state of the art equipment. Also, the prices he charges are unheard of, especially in the states. If you are in need of a really great dentist you won't go wrong by going to Dr. Hernandez. I will go back to see him on our next trip to get my teeth whitened. Please check him out and you won't be disappointed.

Porcelain Crown $440 - $550
Porcelain dental crowns. Some dental crowns are fabricated in a manner where their full thickness is porcelain (dental ceramic). These crowns can possess a translucency that makes them the most cosmetically pleasing of all of the different types of dental crowns
Dental Crowns $440 - $550
One-Price for Porcelain over Metal Crowns including x-rays, temporaries, and build-ups if necessary. Because porcelain crowns cover your entire tooth, they often provide good solutions for severe problems i.e. a bad fracture, a large filling, a tooth that has had root canal treatment, and in situations where one or several teeth are missing. When teeth cannot be saved, dental implants and bridges are a great option to replace missing teeth. As with other techniques, crowns can correct a wide range of problems. They are durable and strong, so replacements are needed less often. The difference between crowns and laminates (or porcelain inlays) is that more tooth structure is removed. This is required to allow adequate space for the restorative material to have appropriate strength, esthetics… and healthy gum contour. The types of crowns that are commonly used are:1.Porcelain fused to metal quality. 2.Porcelain jacket crown 3.100% Porcelain and Art Glass.Porcelain
Temporary Crown $200 - $300
Temporary crownsTemporary dental crowns are usually cemented into place using "temporary" cement so they can be removed easily at the time of your next dental appointment. Because this cement is not as strong as other types of dental cement, your dentist will probably suggest to you that you take some precautions so not to dislodge your temporary crown.Resin crownsA resin crown is made from a special mixture of microscopic particles and cosmetic dental resin. The particles resemble tiny pieces of glass mixed into the resin, which is then cured to harden and strengthen the compound.Zirconia Crowns:Zirconia is the best material available for bridges and for creating a strong translucent tooth that rivals all-porcelain crowns. Zirconia crowns are significantly less expensive than all-porcelain crowns, and about the same price as gold-based metal-porcelain crowns (slightly higher than stainless steel). Also, because zirconia substrates can be milled with a laser milling machine, the substrates tend to fit better and are less labor-intensive than either a metal-procelain or all-porcelain solution, providing a superior product with a quicker turn-around at a lower cost.

Porcelain Crown
Dental Crowns
A natural look for broken and cracked teeth  If you want a smile of glory, you may need a crown to restore the tooth to its normal shape and size. A porcelain crown (also called embedding) covers a tooth to restore its normal shape and size, strengthening and improving the appearance of a tooth. Severe Best Teeth Stains Porcelain Veneer Veneer Application Best Treatment The advantages of crowns include: * Size, shape, texture and color can be controlled. * Return of aesthetics and function. * Can be used on damaged or broken teeth Although porcelain crowns require the reduction of more tooth structure than the veneers, so they are generally stronger than the veneers. Porcelain crowns look like natural teeth and are often stronger than the original teeth. A new crown should last six to eight years. Crowns, however, can last much longer with the application of good oral hygiene and supervision. Moreover, teeth grinding, chewing ice, biting your nails and could significantly decrease the duration of a crown. Dental Crowns  For very damaged teeth, dental crowns can be an effective option. The crown placement procedure involves the use of dental tooth-shaped cover made of metal, ceramic or porcelain to restore strength and eliminate discomfort. In addition, dental crowns can be used to anchor a dental bridge or to cap a dental implant post.Types of Dental Crowns  Dental crowns are made of metal, ceramic or porcelain fused to metal. The type of crown that is used during the procedure will depend on the individual needs and goals, as well as the recommendation of the dentist.

Rating from 39 Reviews The clinic is very clean and more modern facilities than our dentist in the statesDarlene, US, 31 Jan 18

I needed a root canal with crown and my front teeth were chipped. My husband needed a crown and my daughters had cavities filled and whitening. I wasn't looking forward to having it done because of all of the horror stories I had heard about root canals. The cost of dental work in the states is so expensive we decided to take a family vacation to Puerto Vallarta to have the work done at less than half the price as the states. I spent hours reading reviews and checking out many clinics in Puerto Vallarta. Dr. Benjamin Valle at Unident came out on top for price, reviews of customers and cleanliness with modern dentistry. The clinic is very clean and more modern facilities than our dentist in the states. They were able to fit our family in during our vacation. English and Spanish are spoken. My root canal was virtually painless! My chipped front teeth were corrected with bonding in a very short time and my crown looks like a natural tooth. My daughters had cleaning, whitening and fillings, their teeth are nice and bright and the fillings are white. Our family would highly recommend Unident for your dental needs, don't worry, they are a great family business located near a beautiful marina.

Rating from 13 Reviews This is my second trip to see the doctor so I knew I was in expert handsPaul, San Francisco California, 05 May 18

I went to have two lower front teeth crowned, Benjamin had already quoted for the work. It worked out I needed the same treatment for three teeth. My original estimate was approximately $400 per tooth my new estimate came in at $325 per tooth. This is my second trip to see Dr. Armenta so I knew I was in expert hands, he did a dental implant 4 years ago and had no issues. My new porcelain crowns match perfectly in color and natural appearance.

Rating from 3 Reviews I'm glad I went with my gut instinct and I couldn't have asked for moreJames, US, 04 Nov 18

I researched the dental offices online and selected the responsive one, Grupo Odontologico Integral, located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Jose, the Dentist's husband, responded within minutes with pricing for a single crown. I was immediately impressed but hesitant, thinking they didn't have much business or trying to sucker in an American. Well, I was totally wrong. The office was small but yet nice. Jose picked me up at the airport, just blocks away and I went in for a checkup and fitting shortly after arrival. I was fitted with a temporary crown, returned six days later and replaced the temporary crown with a permanent one. The dentist and staff, even though limited English but very understandable, were very kind throughout the procedures. The value was excellent. The difference in what I was quoted in the U.S., at a with insurance rate, covered my airfare, roundtrip, from Houston, Texas. Plus I got a trip to Puerto Vallarta, for a week, out of the experience. You can not ask for more! My overall experience was great but hesitant at first. I'm glad I went with my gut instinct and I couldn't have asked for more. I even recommended them to a tourist from Maryland that I met during a City Tour and Tequila Distillery outing. A big thank you to Danya, Jose, the dentist (who I don't recall his name) and the rest of the staff I interacted with during my visits.
