My wife visited in April 2022 for new dentures after unfortunately losing her original beautiful teeth a few years ago due to Type 1 Diabetes. She had been using her previous dentures for 5 years, but they no longer fit correctly, due to her medical condition. All I can say is she received an absolutely amazing service from start to finish. An extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable team, from the driver(Juan) to the receptionist and dental hygienist (Martha). Nothing was too much and the personal service and attention were second to none, I can not recommend Smile Makeover Playa Del Carmen highly enough. Several other patients we spoke with from the UK and USA all felt the same way and were totally happy. If you are thinking of having any dental work done, you can do yourself a real favour, and contact these guys. You will not be disappointed. I am in the middle of booking my next holiday to Mexico for next year, and thinking of getting some work done and veneers for myself after seeing the amazing work these wonderful people do. I’m a Canadian man, in my early 60’s. I own and run a very busy construction company so my time is limited. Until experiencing Dr. Spears I had all my dental work done in Canada. Unfortunately the outcome for me resulted in damaged teeth and an overall unhealthy mouth. Dr Spears took the time to get to know me, and only promoted solutions that were necessary. Her methods certainly improved my mouth health but there was an added bonus. My overall health and well-being are better! I’m so glad I put my trust in her. What I appreciated most was the time Dr Spears set aside to educate me. Going forward, I’m clear on how to maintain the health and function of my teeth. Even if you reside outside Mexico as I do, you’d be wise to reach out to her. She runs an honest and professional practice. In short, Dr Spears is a life saver! Highly Recommended!

A smooth cementum provides less opportunity for bacteria to accumulate and form calculus, so root planing is an important part of stopping progression of periodontal disease, especially once deeper pockets have formed in the gums, which is really in the bone.
