Root canals, PFM crowns, fillings

I had 4 root canals, 2 PFM crowns, and 9 fillings redone. I had 4 root canals done all at once. After they were done, I only had to take one painkiller. And for all the other work, I didn't have to take any painkillers after. I was only given two shots for pain, for 2 root canals. The other 2 root canals, I had local anaesthesia for the pain that worked just fine. The nice thing about local anaesthesia is that when you leave, your face is not numb so you will not bite your tongue. I was given nothing for pain for the fillings, and he was so good I didn't feel anything. It was nice leaving with my face not numb. I picked this clinic because it was a good price for any treatment. Super nice doctor. I stopped by when he was closed just to find where it was at. He ended up driving by when I was out front. He opened up his shop just to take a look at my teeth to have any idea of what I needed done. He only sees one person at a time. That's really nice, a personal treatment, unlike the USA where the doctor is seeing at least 3 other people at the same time, wasting your time. He was offering me to call him about anything at all, not just my teeth. Like he offered me to call him about prices on anything in Mumbai, to make sure I was not getting ripped off. That would never happen in the USA. I asked him if he knew of any tattoo artist in the area. He didn't, but he checked online for good tattoo artists, called about 4 of them, sent them pictures of my tattoo to be finished for price quotes. And with his help, I ended up getting a tattoo artist about 1.5km from my hotel and I paid about 1/8 of what I would have paid back in the USA. I really like the work they did. If you just want a dentist, this is a great dentist. But you will be leaving with a new friend too.

I have always had this phobia of being on the dentist's chair. And because of this, I would keep putting for later my dental check-up. I put it off for so long that my mouth had started feeling painful all the time and I had completely stopped chewing from the right side of my mouth for over 2 years! This went on to the extent that the left side was also about to give way now because it was being overworked. So cleaning, a decayed molar extraction, a root canal, and a zircon cap were what I had to get done, when I finally visited TruSmile Multi Speciality Dental Clinic.

Right from the moment that I was in the clinic, I was impressed and my nervous hormones started feeling a bit relaxed. The graffiti that Dr. Riyaz has on his walls made me connect with the clinic and the dentist's mindset instantly. Basically, he seemed like a FUN person just like me! And then finally when the treatment began, Dr. Riyaz struck a great rapport with me. Despite him who would be doing the work for 1.5 hours continuously, he would be kind enough to ask me if my mouth needed a break or if I was tired! He would explain to me his diagnosis in layman's terms and also discuss with me the probable treatment options with the costs well in advance. He always gave me the power to take my decisions based on various factors like my budget, my availability, my long-term dental health, etc. and also guided me with the right information to help me decide. Moreover, at the end of the treatment, he also educated me on maintaining my dental hygiene when away from the dentist. It is purely because of Dr. Riyaz, that my fear about dentists has completely disappeared and I look forward to be in India again to get my routine check-up with him again. I also now enjoy looking after my teeth better than before!

I had 4 root canals, 2 PFM crowns and 9 fillings redone. 4 root canals done in one day. Very little pain; I only took one painkiller after root canals. No pain from any of the fillings. Two of the root canals done, in the USA, the dentist wanted to just pull them out and put a bridge for one of the pulled teeth that would cost $2,200. And I paid about $2,160 for hotel, airfare, and dental treatment to fix all my teeth. Dr. Riyaz Quereshi and his assistant are really nice. He even helped me find a good tattoo artist here in Mumbai and a good price too. He even offered his contact information so I can call him if I had any questions about anything in Mumbai, like if I was buying anything, to see if it was a good price or not. I don't know of any doctor in the USA that would let you call them about anything but your treatment. And I have his personal cell number to call. When I was getting my treatment, there were no others being treated. It was really personal, something the USA could learn. Next year when I come back to Mumbai, I'll bring my mom to get her crowns done here because of the good price and excellent treatment.

First & foremost, the doc's got a delicate hand at what he does. There is quality in the work and you won't be skinned alive when paying for any treatment. It is highly reasonable.

Dr. Riyaz Qureshi is the best dentist, who makes you comfortable with his speech, and does his work very smoothly, i can say this with so confidence coz I have done 4 root canals, and I dint experienced any sought of pain during and after my treatment...

Yes, I am extremely pleased with the treatment. Apart from a ceramic filling I had my two wisdom teeth removed here. I must say the process was almost painless and Dr. Riyaz was very accommodating of my schedules.

Initially, it was just as an investigative trip and then I then decided, having met Dr. Riyaz and the staff of clinic, that it was worthwhile going ahead. As far as dental experience is concerned, this is the best dental treatment I ever had...
