I recently had a dental implant done by Dr. Ioannis Ziounas at the id Dental Clinic in Athens, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I have just had major dental work completed at Aurum Wellness Clinic. I have known Dr Leonidas Avgerinos for many years as my dentist. I have had issues with grinding my teeth so badly that they were cracking and each tooth had a crater. Dentine was becoming exposed and I had a terrible cross bite, which made tooth maintenance, very difficult and made me self-conscious despite my efforts to look after my teeth. Together, we came to the conclusion that something had to be done. Dr Leo explained that for a long lasting and best result - both for oral health and aesthetics- a full mouth reconstruction would be necessary which meant 27 crowns and one implant. He left me to think this over and did not rush me to make my decision. I had known deep down for many years that this needed to be done so made the decision to go for it. I booked one week to stay in Athens at the beginning of April where Dr. Leo and his team of specialists would start the treatment. Throughout the treatment the communication was excellent and I knew exactly what to expect. I came back this week (commencing 22 April) and had the permanent crowns fitted. All 27. A huge job but again with a full team,the treatment was finished in one session. My new teeth look fantastic, they look natural which is really what I wanted and it’s what Dr Leo advised me. My bite has been corrected and I feel so much better. Things are healing up nicely and I know that I made the right decision. If you want a dentist you can trust, one that really listens and cares, then Dr Leo is the one. I wish I had done this before. It’s not fun struggling with your teeth and now I feel confident and happy. I would strongly recommend to anyone with similar problems. You won’t regret it.

Where to begin...July '2021. I'd started a new project overseas and after a colleague provided me with Sofia S details, given the fact that I'm an anxious patient (to say the least), and had a lot of issues previously, I decided to take the plunge and look at getting all those issues addressed. The first meeting included discussions around what i actually wanted, or needed, followed by most the thorough hygiene sessions, I'd experienced. Over the months of treatment, which included full replacements of all fillings (approximately 8 off), addressing a historical root canal and crown issue, that hadn't been treated correctly, the proper rebuild of a broken tooth, teeth whitening treatment, followed by a nightguard for my overbite. What I need to add is that most of these appointments were scheduled around my work commitments, usually out of normal working hours and sometimes, more than one appointment a week, and at short notice. How often can we say that of our own dentists? Jumping forward to November '24, another issue had me planning a visit to Athens, and just as if it were last week, Sofia accommodated my dental requirements. I, naively expecting a tooth removal, ended up being a root canal and crown, followed by one of those thorough hygiene sessions to finish me off. To note, this was carried over three appointments, in one week. The detail I've not mentioned is that for my dentist phobia, the hours of treatment I've endured, the professional attitude demonstrated, the fantastic work and not too mention the money saved. The clinic has restored my faith and confidence.

I travelled all the way from Canada for my dental work with Dr Besas! It was absolutely worth it! We did quite a bit of work, and everything was handled with such precision, care, and professionalism. He took the time to explain every step, was meticulous with detail, and managed everything so efficiently. His skill and warmth truly set him apart — he’ll be my dentist for life. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Shoutout to his lovely assistant Kiki as well :)
