I can only say how impressed I was with the professional and personal service I received from Gentle Dental when I was in need of some emergency implant dental work. I can highly recommend this surgery.

Two months ago I travelled from the Netherlands to Greece to have a six-unit dental bridge done at Gentle Dental with Dr George. My story is painful, I lost my front 4 teeth at a very young age and since the age of 14, I had a front dental denture that I used for 20years. Living in the Netherlands dental treatment such as bridges and implants are impossible to pay even for middle-class families. For years I was embarrassed to smile and it's got to a point where I got used to pulling my top lip over my denture. I got a quotation from a dentist in NL that it would be round €7000 to have a six-unit dental bridge and that the insurance would only pay back around €220 when I called to confirm. So this was no option. I did some research online and found out that Greece had a low cost and because the dental treatment was in the EU the Dutch insurance would still cover it. So this is how I ended up going to Dr George, after calling his Wife Eri who is also the receptionist she confirmed the price to me and the material that they would use and I could hardly believe it. The next week I was on a 3-hour flight to spend a week in Crete and have the dental bridge done.

On my first appointment I met Dr George and he was so extremely compassionate to my embarrassment regarding my denture and missing teeth, he made me feel comfortable and went straight to work, he first started by shaping my bottom teeth that had grown out long because of my top teeth being missing for years. He told me to smile all the time. Over the next five days of treatment and sitting in the chair and George telling me to smile I started feeling good, on the 5th appointment when my bridge was fitted and completed Dr George did not have to tell me to smile it came naturally with so much emotions tears and George and Eri shared some of these special tears with me. It's been two months and I cannot stop smiling, my speech had improved and my Business The Cheese Shop Marken has had sales like never before, my confidence is back I am smiling and enjoying life.

I was on holiday from England when the front teeth which are on the bridge fell out. However, no problem get it glued back. My biggest problem is I have a fear for dentists, I hate dentists, I hate the smell, all the equipment, going back in the chair, the sound of the drill and everything about them. The hotel where I was staying at recommended the dentist.

For the first time in my life, I did not experience fear. He was gentle, explaining everything he was doing. In fact, now I wish I had gone for the more permanent solution as he suggested.

Absolutely excellent. Had a painful gum infection and was somewhat concerned. Due to the fact we are from Canada and do not have insurance here.

My teeth were in a very bad way and after a free and friendly consultation where a detailed and thorough examination was done, a treatment plan was offered to me outlining the treaments needed and a number of payment plan options.
I had peridontal treament for gum disease, a number of extractions, fittings and close consultation with the dental technician to achieve the fantastic smile I have today.

This was an initial consultation and I opted for a peridontal deep clean as I had been having problems with a bad taste around some bridge work and implants. The treatment was excellent and the Dentist very attentive and thorough. The information given was also excellent, at every stage. Thorough initial discussion before treatment as well. Excellent value for money.

Chose this clinic because of location in East Crete and feedback from other clients, especially in regard to implant treatment and veneers. The clinic is bright and modern and the Dentist very welcoming. No feeling of being rushed at any stage. Very easy to locate and park and, in season, lots to do when you have finished your appointment.

I had new partial dentures top & bottom as my previous set I had done in England many years ago & were very worn down & I never wore the bottom ones as they were so uncomfortable. My new ones are excellent to wear & visually.

I chose this clinic because off the name I think but after my first visit I was very impressed with the modern surroundings & equipment & the very helpful friendly staff they all spoke excellent English had a sense of humour & put me at ease immediately. The dentist was extremely thorough nothing was too much trouble & was only happy when everything was perfect. The follow up was unexpected, contacting me to see if all was well with my teeth, very considerate.

Highly recommended: After repeated re-cementing of an upper front incisor crown here in the UK, I decided to seek a permanent solution whilst on holiday in Crete. The problem was due to a broken post.
My research led me to Dr. Antonopoulos, and Gentle Dental in Hersonissos.
I contacted the clinic for an estimate of time and cost, and both were within my budget and time and available Euros!
I am so glad that I did. "George" began treatment as soon as the personal consultation finished. He carefully removed the broken post, and fitted a new one.
Dr. Antonopoulos is charming, caring, and absolutely precise in his approach.
I opted to have both central incisors replaced to the same standard and shape. His dental technician attended the clinic to check shape and colour with me.
In just a short time and a few appointments I had two new front teeth. I am absolutely delighted with the results.
After the final appointment I decided to stay overnight in the beautiful town. Administrator Eri booked the hotel (at a wonderful rate), and guided me to the reception for check-in.

I appreciated that: 1) he gave me thorough scientific explanations, in every strange question I set. 2) He evaluated every detail of my clinical picture. 3) He proposed me different treatment approaches, explaining the pros and cons of each. 4) He made me feel comfortable with no feelings of rush. 5) His hands were 'firm'. 6) The treatment took two visits. During that, but also after that, I felt that I have a personal dental consultant, ready to contact him for any question.

I chose that clinic because I needed a bridge and prices in Paris are very high for this kind of treatment. I was warmly welcomed, the doctor explained to me in detail what he was going to do and gave me an exact quote for his work. During the treatment he was very kind and efficient. I am very pleased with the result and with the price that I paid.
