Sofia S. Tzouma

I feel so lucky to have met Dr. Sofia Tzouma just before Christmas. She kindly accommodated me the very next day when I had an urgent issue with one of my veneers. Dr. Tzouma was not only highly professional but also incredibly kind and patient. Despite my anxiety about seeing a dentist other than my regular one in Canada, she made the entire process seamless and did an excellent job.

I’m happy to say she is now my go-to dentist in Athens! Thank you, Dr. Tzouma, for your professionalism, and clear explanations, and for helping me feel at ease. I look forward to seeing you again soon! 😊

Where to begin...July '2021.

I'd started a new project overseas and after a colleague provided me with Sofia S details, given the fact that I'm an anxious patient (to say the least), and had a lot of issues previously, I decided to take the plunge and look at getting all those issues addressed.

The first meeting included discussions around what i actually wanted, or needed, followed by most the thorough hygiene sessions, I'd experienced.

Over the months of treatment, which included full replacements of all fillings (approximately 8 off), addressing a historical root canal and crown issue, that hadn't been treated correctly, the proper rebuild of a broken tooth, teeth whitening treatment, followed by a nightguard for my overbite.

What I need to add is that most of these appointments were scheduled around my work commitments, usually out of normal working hours and sometimes, more than one appointment a week, and at short notice. How often can we say that of our own dentists?

Jumping forward to November '24, another issue had me planning a visit to Athens, and just as if it were last week, Sofia accommodated my dental requirements. I, naively expecting a tooth removal, ended up being a root canal and crown, followed by one of those thorough hygiene sessions to finish me off. To note, this was carried over three appointments, in one week.

The detail I've not mentioned is that for my dentist phobia, the hours of treatment I've endured, the professional attitude demonstrated, the fantastic work and not too mention the money saved. The clinic has restored my faith and confidence.

Dr. Tzouma was outstanding! We were travelling in Athens when I developed an abscess in a tooth. Our hotel sent us to the emergency department in the nearest hospital. It’s a day later, and I’m quite sure I’d still be sitting there. My wife contacted Dr. Tzouma and she offered to meet us in her dental office at 8 pm on a Saturday evening. I was very impressed with her professionalism and assertive decision to remove the tooth to alleviate the pressure rather than wait until we returned to Canada. It certainly was the right decision. She was also extremely fair with her billing, particularly under the circumstances. I’d love to take her back to Canada with me to be my (and my family and friends) dentist!

I cannot recommend Dr. Tzouma highly enough! During my vacation in Greece, I unexpectedly chipped two teeth and needed urgent care. Dr. Tzouma not only gave me a same-day emergency appointment, but she also provided exceptional care from start to finish. Her professionalism, skill, and kindness were a huge relief in such a stressful situation.

Despite the tight timeline I had, Dr. Tzouma worked diligently to ensure my teeth were repaired before my next trip. Her attention to detail and the quality of her work were outstanding, and she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way.

If you're looking for a dentist who is not only skilled but genuinely cares about her patients, Dr. Tzouma is the one to see. I’m so grateful to have found her!

Sofia was efficient, professional and a delight to converse with. She put me at ease, explained her planned procedure and was completed before I realised it. Unfortunately, I've had many extractions in the past. This work was the smoothest and near painless.

Sofia Tzouma is amazing! My husband had part of a tooth break off on the Sunday of a long weekend. We were going on a cruise on the Monday so we really needed this fixed. I contacted Dr Tzouma through the app around 10 am on Sunday. She responded about 10 min later and offered us an appointment at 12 midday which we gladly accepted. When we arrived we found out she had come into her practice specifically to treat my husband. Her rooms were modern and friendly. She spent over one hour fixing my husband‘s tooth and the total bill was only around 120 Euros. We were super impressed. Thanks again Dr Tzouma!

I found Dr. Sofia online as I was taking a trip to Greece in June of 2023. I needed an implant done and the cost in the US was prohibitive. I reached out to Dr. Sofia and she was prompt and punctual in responding to my (many) questions and concerns. I have never experienced this at home.

She told me about the procedure, and the costs involved and I felt 100% safe in flying to Greece to begin the procedure. (I went in March for a 10-day trip to get the implant.) Sofia accommodated me way beyond what would be expected of a medical provider.

In June I returned after the implant healed and got the crown put on. I took two trips to Greece, (My favourite place), and still saved a significant amount of money getting the work done. I completely trust Dr.Sofia and appreciate her very much!

I broke a tooth while on vacation in Athens and was lucky to find this dental clinic. Dr Sofia fixed the problem tooth very quickly and professionally. The clinic is clean, modern and welcoming - located about 15 min taxi ride from the Acropolis. Highly recommend. Good spoken English.

I got the appointment very fast, and she answered all my questions sent by sms very fast in maximal 15 minutes. As a medical doctor from another country I can recommend her in every way. What was also important she works on Saturdays. Speaking English. Price was very reasonable comparing to EU.
