I went there to have an arm lift and tummy tuck; however, the tummy tuck did not go forward on the day. The communication was mixed; you do feel like you are passed to several people in the process, none of them know entirely what’s happening, which can be frustrating. I am extremely happy with the results of the arm lift; this was life-changing for me, and I am very pleased I had it done. From the initial contact with Sue, sending photos for consultation, surgeon’s credentials, surgery procedures, quotation, medical questionnaire, meeting points at Istanbul airport, hotel facilities, transfers from the airport and hospital, the procedure itself and check up appointment and aftercare, it couldn’t have gone any smoother. Sue went above and beyond, meeting and greeting us at the hotel, staying most of the day at the hospital the day of the procedure and the day after the procedure until I was discharged. Meeting me at the hospital the day of the check-up. She couldn’t do enough for us. Although my husband accompanied me Sue was so warm, friendly, personable, knowledgeable and reassuring. I would advise anyone considering travelling to Istanbul, especially if you are travelling alone, which could be quite daunting, to get a procedure done, you would be lucky to have Sue as not only your coordinator but a friend who really cares about her clients. Dr G (Goktug) was absolutely wonderful. He is a very skilled surgeon, and I am absolutely delighted with the results. I would definitely recommend him if you are considering cosmetic surgery in Turkey. He speaks excellent English and answered all my pre and post-surgery questions.
