From the moment I entered Istanbul Airport, I was welcomed by a private driver and Melek from Setur Health. They took care of me immediately, and I am so grateful for that, as Istanbul is crowded, and you really need help. The hotel organized by Setur was also perfect—so comfortable and right in the middle of Taksim! I also really enjoyed the food and the entire organization on the day of my surgery. Everything went perfectly! I was so surprised by the food at the hospital; I’ve never had better in a clinic! I am incredibly grateful for my entire experience with Setur Health for my hair transplant. I received everything they promised—and more! Such welcoming people, so professional—just PERFECT! I’m writing this 8 days later, and I can already see the success of my hair transplant. Everything went smoothly without any issues!

My experience with Clinichub has been great from start to finish! 😊 I struggled with my weight for all my life and finally decided that do something about it and started researching weight-loss surgeries and came across the gastric sleeve. So I started my enquiry with Clinichub, chatting with my lovely Coordinator and had a consultation, my surgeon, before booking my surgery! My coordinator made sure that I knew everything about the process, what to expect, how to prepare myself, etc. Then I booked my flights, packed and was mentally ready to do this for myself so I could lose this excess weight that was holding me back from enjoying many things in life. I arrived at the airport late at night, the driver was already waiting for me and escorted me to this 5-star hotel, my room was very neat and clean. There was an amazing breakfast buffet which I was not able to ENJOY ☹ as I was already on my fluid diet. Anyways, I was informed by my coordinators about the plan for the day. I got up and get ready for the tests and was taken to the hospital by the driver. I finally I met Asuman in the hospital who had been helping all through my booking process and she guided me in there as well and made sure everything went well super smoothly. The dietitian was also amazing, she explained a lot of things to me made sure everything was clear about my diet and brought me my supplements to use later. I also got to meet other patients who were having surgery on the same day as me which helped lessen my anxiety, you know seeing other people go through the same experiences and supporting each other. I met my surgeon prior to my surgery, and he was very kind and gave me confidence that everything would go well. He also made sure I felt comfortable and cared for afterwards. The nurses were lovely and very attentive. Even though I was in pain in my first day, pain relief was provided, they helped me walk and felt so much BETTER after taking my first shower, relieved and renewed. By the time I got discharged, I was feeling so good like I haven’t even had surgery and I kept thinking “WHY HAVE I DELAYED THIS FOR SO LONG?” So overall, I was impressed with the quality of the service and even though I was nervous to travel by myself, I felt comfortable and welcomed during my whole stay. So MASSIVE THANK YOU to Clinichub for the journey and my doctor, all the coordinators, nurses, drivers, hotel staff! I’ll be definitely back for my tummy and referring my family and friends 😊

After my sister had her gastric sleeve in January 2023 and I saw the results of her surgery and health I decided to also have one. I booked for the 13th of November. The largest weight I was, was 25stone and 11lbs but with the liver reduction diet and my willpower, I got down to 24stone and 5lbs on the day of surgery. I was of course nervous because of my size but Dr Cengiz reassured me that I would be OK and that he was shocked at how healthy I was for someone of my size. However, he said that wouldn't last and in 5years time I would have all the same health issues as my sister had. Our mother died from heart disease at 47 and my sister was diagnosed with the same. So I knew I was running out of time as I was 7 stone heavier than my sister, to begin with. They came and got me around 4.30 pm and I was very bewildered being wheeled down to the operating room but the staff were very reassuring. I couldn't even have a relaxer as they had trouble finding a vein but they did and I accidentally pulled it out during one of the pre-op tests. The anaesthetist put a cannula in and before I knew it I was asleep and the next thing I knew I was being slapped around the face and being told to breathe. My throat was sore but I eventually took a breath. I wasn't in pain at all, I wasn't tired either. The care I received was the best I've had. If I needed pain relief I got it, if I felt sick I got sick. The nurses and doctors were brilliant even though there was a language barrier sometimes. I cannot fault the care or aftercare I've had from Apera and would recommend them highly to others. I am currently almost 5 stone down and my health has improved and my energy levels are so much better too. Thank you opera for giving me my life back.
