Depending on the severity and complexity of the issue and the work that a person would like to do, I can provide short-term intensive counselling and coaching sessions or deep, longer-term psychotherapy sessions. I have trained in a variety of therapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), person-centred therapy and psychodynamic therapies, to suit either shorter- or longer-term work. I have also trained in EMDR therapy, mindfulness and the use of psychometric tests.

In Q1 of 2020, I had multiple counselling sessions with Mr Aidan Lakes. I had previously been to two different counsellors over the years and I can genuinely say with all my heart that I got the most benefit from my talks with Aidan. I am always a little nervous when I go for counselling for the first time but Aidan very quickly made me feel at ease and created a non-judgemental environment to discuss any matters I was dealing with. Aidan is truly genuine and I felt real empathy at all times from him. Aidan is an excellent listener and he used his very keen emotional intelligence and counselling skills to help me process a lot of pain and issues I was dealing with. A number of months of passed since I have last talked with Aidan and I still find myself reverting back to the conversations we had to help process any matters I am dealing with on a day to day basis. I cannot recommend Aidan highly enough and I will be forever grateful for everything he has done for me. Thank you, Aidan.

Siobhan was wonderful from day one and always made me feel very comfortable each session. I never felt short for time her or felt like she was rushing me to finish a session, it always seemed to end on my terms which were really nice. She seemed to pinpoint my issues and help my confidence grow tenfold. Though our sessions are done for now I feel I can always go back whenever I'm having a particularly bad week. Couldn't recommend her enough especially for those who've never done this kind of sessions.
