I can hardly remember the issues that I experienced before, and it helped me level up in lifeG.K, Ireland, 07 01 20

Brilliant experienced that helped me with more than just what I went to Brian for. In fact, I can hardly remember the issues that I experienced before, and it helped me level up in life. As Brian says therapy helps us become more of who we are. I'm writing this about 2 months and a bit after finishing with Brian and can confirm that the work we did is lasting.

Connecting Mindfully (counselling & psychotherapy) - Psychotherapy Clinic in Ireland

When something in your life is not how you'd like it to be, or when you're looking for help and support for something that you're going through; perhaps a life event, a particular concern or maybe problems with relationships, at home, in school or at work. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, frustration, fear, sadness or other emotions.  Stress can be a part of this.  Counselling can help you to better understand what might be going on for you, and to find ways to effectively manage feelings, thoughts or worries.  My experience is that clients come to counselling because they want something in their life to be different. I appreciate that it's often not easy to come to counselling. I welcome clients with warmth and openness, and a non-judgemental listening ear. I am a Person-Centred Therapist and I use ACT, CBT and Choice Theory to help clients work through an issue or to help them shine a new light on an area of their life that is not currently how they would like it to be. Sometimes what we need is to be listened to and heard.  Coming to see a therapist is a brave step towards getting support.  Allowing yourself to talk about and express what you are experiencing might be what you need at this time.  We often don't 'press pause' in our lives, we often don't give ourselves the time or space to check in with ourselves. I am forever grateful to have been counselled by herDeclan, Ireland, 28 03 17

Having seen several therapists due to severe anxiety and several bouts of depression, I can confidently say that Laura has been the most compassionate and sincere of them all. She offered me a safe haven and always handled my worries and problems with an unbiased and non-judgemental approach. Laura has played a huge part in strengthening my confidence and self-esteem. I can honestly say that without her I wouldn't have got through a testing time. Laura was full of patience, kindness and encouragement, and I am forever grateful to have been counselled by her.
