I started going to Brendan Markey in May 2018 for counselling at the Somer Clinic Clondalkin, I suffered horrific injuries in January 2018 and after Follow-ups with my Consultant who treated me observed me that I need Counselling as he was a concern for my well being. My GP recommend Somer clinic. Brendan was positive in getting me back me through to overcome the trauma and I was going through a tough period in 2018 and part of 2019 with recovery from the injuries along with worries of the future hold at the end of the recovery. He is a great listener and he has given back my confidence and persuaded me to be positive, open-minded, explored new ways to a new chapter and well being. He makes me relaxed and the conservation flow, He listened to my issues, and how I’m feeling with difficult with getting my independence back and he reassured me that we get there as part of wellbeing, giving me the morale boost. We sometimes have a laugh to make it a positive session.
