Helping patients return from helplessness to mastery of their life is the goal of this psychotherapist and counsellor. She treats patients at her clinics located at Kentish Town and Battersea in London. She treats a wide range of psychological, emotional, mental and behavioural problems in a caring and confidential environment. She offers advice and listens to patients and encourages them to solve problems and lead a better quality of life in relationship with those around them. I am a qualified psychotherapist  with a BA(Hons) degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy and I am a accredited member of IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy & Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP).  Since my qualification I have also acquired a professional certificate in the following areas: Bereavement Studies, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), The Dynamics of Attachment in Adult life and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). My approach to my work is integrative and humanistic, a module that encourages the distinctly human quality of choice and creativity and emphasizes the hopeful view of human beings and their ability to be self-determining. I use the analogy of the therapist being the person supporting the client by holding the blank canvas while the client creates their many works of art. I work with adults on a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, post natal depression, bereavement, grief and loss, relationship difficulties,suicidal issues and sexual abuse.  To enable clients to work on their own masterpieces creating a safe, non-judgemental compassionate listening space is a fundamental aim in my work as a therapist. 

Ray is an author, trainer, coach, therapist and speaker, he was trained by Richard Bandler to become a master practitioner in N.L.P. and Hypnosis, and he has advanced study and training of Anthony Robbins N.A.C Techniques and is a practitioner of Havening. His ongoing training and passion to help others started in 1995 and still continues today, his ultimate goal is to share his knowledge and help others to overcome the challenges they face. His pillars of healing and discovery integrate Havening, hypnosis and N.L.P which creates a powerful tool for intervention, healing, recovery and success conditioning. He specialises in pain control, rediscovery of self and emotional change techniques to free people from their traumatisation of life and the effects it has on them. He has been in private practice since 1996.

Heather (MA, MIAHIP, MIACP) is an accredited psychotherapist with 10 years experience, working with couples, adults and adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds. She works in a humanistic integrative way  focusing on the primacy of the therapeutic relationship. Her background in art and design has facilitated her in practicing in a creative way ensuring safety and sensitivity to all ages and favouring elements of gestalt and mindfulness to assist clients when necessary.     She provides long-term therapy to clients who have experienced childhood developmental trauma, eating disorders, CSA and clerical abuse. Alternatively, she provides short-term therapy for those engaging in EAP work. Over the years Heather has worked with a wide spectrum of presenting issues from relationship difficulties, depression, post natal depression, anxiety, phobias, low self-esteem, loss, bereavement, bullying, self-harming and suicidal ideation.

The issues that Mary deals with on a regular basis range from smoking cessation, addictions & weight loss to curing anxiety, depression and confidence building. It is not uncommon for her clients to report life changing results in just one session because this is the level at which she operates. Essential to Mary’s style of therapy is her uncanny ability to develop instant rapport with her clients so that they instantly feel comfortable in her presence which means they can get working on solutions straight away. My professional journey began in Canada where I earned a degree in Psychology. Since then I have completed a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as certificates in both Mindfulness and Art Therapy. I work with a number of different issues including: anxiety, depression, bullying, bereavements, postnatal depression, eating disorders and suicide. As well as my one on one client work I offer courses and workshops on a number of different subjects with a large focus on personal development and emotional awareness.  I believe that everyone can grow and evolve in a more positive way.
