My doctor was very informative and I had one follow-up after the therapyRobert, UK, 12 03 18

I had a soft tissue therapy (STT) session here a long time ago. I think I chose them because of their favorable reviews. It was worth the money and I didn’t pay any additional charges. At the time of my appointment, the clinic was still kind of under construction, but things were pretty neat despite this. My doctor was very informative and I had one follow-up after the therapy. The physician who did the treatment was really good.

Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine which focuses on total body health by releasing tissue tension, thus restoring balance to the musculoskeletal framework. The Osteopath uses a combination of massage, stretching and joint manipulation techniques to relieve pain by relaxing muscles, improving circulation and calming nervous system function. Cranial Osteopathy is a refined and subtle type of osteopathic treatment that uses very gentle manipulative pressure to encourage the release of stresses throughout the body, including the head. It is can be helpful in treating a wide range of conditions in people of all ages, from birth to old age. What do Osteopaths Treat? Osteopaths treat the whole person, not just the condition. Common conditions that may be helped include:Back and Neck PainMuscle strains & Joint StiffnessDisc & Sciatica ProblemsPostural ProblemsRepetitive StrainHeadaches and MigrainesJaw Pain & Teeth GrindingMusculoskeletal Pain during and after pregnancyTreatments for Children and babiesSports InjuriesWhat happens on my first consultation? The 1st session will involve a detailed case history, both of the main problem, previous injuries and general health history, followed by a careful physical examination before arriving at a treatment plan. In more complex situations, further tests may be required to gain full understanding of the problem. How long does a treatment course last? This depends on the nature and complexity of the problem. Recent issues tend to resolve fairly quickly: 1 to 3 treatments. Longer term more chronic conditions will take longer.

A great experienceAli, UK, 17 06 15

The treatment was carried out after an initial examination of my neck, back etc. Adam carefully manipulated areas of the body where pain and tension was suffered explaining each step of the way of why he was treating each body area. I went to see Adam Kay at the clinic with an ongoing neck problem I have. He was very professional, easy to talk to and explained things well. Adam was honest and said it would take a handful of sessions to cure the trapped nerve. The value of what you get seems good so far, I'm hoping by the end of our treatment sessions I will be cured. If so I will recommend Adam and will return should I need his help again. From start to finish it was a great experience.

I am now able to run pain freeCharlie, UK, 12 07 15

I was getting pain in my hip, lower back and legs when running and doing other kinds of exercise. My friend recommended I see an osteopath at New Body Osteopathy. After 3 sessions the exercises that the osteopath recommended did the job. The pain stopped and I am now able to run and do exercise pain free. Booking at this clinic is very easy. Zoe was very friendly and professional and knew exactly what to look at. The price was very reasonable given that I had feared I was going to need an MRI scan which would have cost much more. I would go back again.
